Deletion nomination of Talk:Hyperion Theater

[edit]
blanked page
blanked page

Hi Bellagio2, this is a message from an automated bot, regarding Talk:Hyperion Theater. You blanked the page and, since you are its sole author, FrescoBot has interpreted it as a request for deletion of the page and asked administrators to satisfy the requests per speedy deletion criterion G7. Next time you want a page that you've created deleted, you can explicitly request the deletion by inserting the text {{db-author}}. If you didn't want the page deleted, please remove the {{db-author}} tag from the page and undo your blanking or put some content in the page. Admins are able to recover deleted pages. Please do not contact the bot operator for issues not related with bot's behaviour. To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=FrescoBot}} somewhere on your talk page. -- FrescoBot (msg) 00:45, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Startourstheadventurecontinues.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:27, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I remember helping you with previous images, and when I saw this one come up, I thought I'd help out again. You did attempt to provide fair-use rationale, but it wasn't in the form most editors are looking for. To that end, I've added the appropriate templates to cover the non-free image. What I need from you is the source of the image; in other words, what website (exact http: address) did it come from? You can append it at the "Source" field in the fair-use template on the image's page, or you can send a copy to me. Also, would you be able to scale the image down a bit, even if it means reducing the resolution a touch? Anything that reduces the ability to reproduce it for non-fair-use purposes will help. If you have any other questions, please let me know! --McDoobAU93 15:32, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks dude... i owe you one! Bellagio2 (talk) 04:25, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can I just add to this, when providing a link to where the image was sourced, can you please provide a direct link to the image itself and not the web page where you sourced it from. Thanks Themeparkgc  Talk  23:43, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Themeparkgc  Talk  05:07, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Allysansan.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Allysansan.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing

[edit]

Referencing is one of the most important factors when contributing to Wikipedia. Recently, you contributed to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and provided a plain link as a reference. I have since corrected this edit using RefToolbar 2.0. The RefToolbar is a JavaScript utility that can easily be enabled in your account. The toolbar adds a Cite tab to your editing toolbar and allows the easy use of a variety of templates including {{Cite news}}, {{Cite web}}, {{Cite book}} and {{Cite journal}}. The toolbar allows you to choose what type of item you are citing (i.e. news, web, book or journal) and fill in parameters in an easy-to-use dialogue box. The toolbar automatically wraps this citation in <ref> </ref> tags. To install, simply go to Special:Preferences and click on the Gadgets tab. Tick the option stating "refTools, adds a "cite" button to the editing toolbar for quick and easy addition of commonly used citation templates." By saving this setting and restarting your internet browser, you should now have an additional menu on the editing toolbar called "cite". You do not have to use this toolbar but I would recommend doing so. Regards  Themeparkgc  Talk  00:16, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Startourstheadventurecontinues.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Startourstheadventurecontinues.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:35, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
