Excellent work on Slavery in Brazil. Looking forward to further contributions from you! . DStrassmann (talk) 03:35, 26 December 2014 (UTC) |
Great work
[edit]Hi Benito, thanks for the substantial contributions that you’ve made to the Slavery in Brazil and Conservation in Brazil articles. I confess that I have not read either article completely, but I read enough to recognize that you have a lot of passion for the subjects that you have written about and that you clearly spent a lot of time and effort to make those contributions. Parabéns!
I did revert some of the language that you had added to the slavery article. The statement in question is one that I fully agreed with, personally, morally, ethically, politically, etc. Unfortunately, it was just written in a non-neutral tone. When we feel passionately about something, it’s hard not to let that seep into the text from time to time. I understand.
Don’t let reverts like mine frustrate you. It isn’t personal and it’s something we all have to deal with and learn how to do well. You’re off to a good start! I hope you will continue to contribute and that you will also find ways to improve where you can. I would suggest reading WP:NPOV and Wikipedia is Not (a personal favorite WP page of mine). —giso6150 (talk) 03:46, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
