I think a biographical article should include controversies if they are important enough, but the one mentioned in the article doesn't appear to be. What I meant by "lasting coverage" was whether there was ongoing criticism or controversy, also for example, whether it was expected to have any effect on voters in the elections. Also, the article should be written from a neutral point of view, preferably in proportion to the amount of positive and negative coverage – before I edited the article, it looked like it had been turned into a promotional article for a rival candidate in the election. —Snigbrook 21:46, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If the newsletter controversy is a significant issue in the current election, there will probably have been coverage of it in the news - if not on the web then in a newspaper. —Snigbrook 22:09, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
