In response to your feedback

[edit]

Okay, so, I'm not sure you have this already, so you may not need all this information. Go to "My preferences", and from there go to the "Editing" section. At the bottom it will say "Usability features". Make sure both boxes are checked. Now go to the article you want to edit and add something to reference. The toolbar that has "Advanced", "Special characters", and "Help" should also have "Cite". Press "Cite" and it will ask you what you are citing. When you select that, it will take you to a screen where you fill in all the information. If you are planning on using the same reference for more than one fact, put something in the "ref name" box. For example, if I were going to use the section called "Canine distemper" in the Merck veterinary manual for something, I would put "Merck canine distemper" in the "ref name" box. Then, when I use that reference for subsequent facts, I would put <ref name="Merck canine distemper" /> If you have any other questions, either ask me or go to the Teahouse.
