The article as written is an essay that relies too much on original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Additionally, as written it is a content fork of Documentary film–I considered merging it, but the only information from a reliable source included in this article is from the 2007 study, which isn't really worth adding to the main article. I would suggest two possible ways to move forward with this draft: either find more content in reliable sources, particularly secondary sources talking about the history and development of the use of documentaries in educational contexts (i.e. enough to justify creating a separate article from Documentary film), or start a section on the article for Documentary film documenting the uses and abuses of documentaries in educational contexts.
