Hello. Please note that Wikipedia is a personal web host or a soapbox. The subpage about your father does not fall in line with Wikipedia's guidelines for acceptable user pages. Please remove it by placing a {{db-user}} at the top of the page.--v/r - TP 16:50, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've never done this before please delete the page and I'll start the article about my father? Thank you Signed Christiaan1960Christiaan1960 (talk) 17:02, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Christiaan1960, there may be some policies and guidelines you might want to read before you begin an article that may save you some frustration later. Any article about your father will have to conform to Wikipedia's notability guideline and our verifiability guidelines as well as our nuetral point of view policy. Also bear in mind that you have a conflict of interest that will weigh in on any edits you make. You may want to start out at the articles for creation process and be upfront of your conflict of interest to help other editors assume good faith in your attempts at an article. You could also try the article wizard that can help you make decisions and guide you through the process. Please keep in mind that your page will be subject to the criteria for speedy deletion if it doesn't signify why your father is significant for inclusion in an encyclopedia such as Wikipedia. I strongly recommend you read each of these things I've linked here for you, it could save you some heartache later. Hope it helps.--v/r - TP 17:27, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Frank Schildt Biographical page requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. →GƒoleyFour19:06, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article The Frank Schildt Biographical page, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:12, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
