Hi! The Encyclopedia of Native Music does reference Barbara Assiginaak, but she is listed in the Encyclopedia as Barbara Croall, which I noted in the “also known as.” When researching her, Assiginaak seems to be the surname she goes by on her faculty page from Wilfrid Laurier, so that is what I created the page under.
