Hello. May I ask you why you removed the category Category:Compositions for symphonic orchestra ? The instrumentation is correct I think - and Category:Suites does not cover the instrumentation. Dr. Friendly 17:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I get your point: musical form vs. instrumentation. Whereas "symphonic orchestra" may not exactly be seen as an instrument, and I guess many orchestral works have not been categorized as such, it may be that this registration could be helpful. Hence I have added the category back. (Classickol 19:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

category changes

[edit]

May I point you to the fact that not everyone agrees with your changes to the category system on classical music? The classical music categories are subject to a lot of debate. I invite you to join the discussion and argument your changes on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical music. Thanks! Dr. Friendly 21:31, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I was talking about Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Classical music#Query. Dr. Friendly 17:09, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
