Welcome
[edit]- Template-style welcome-message follows. Please forgive the one-tone-fits-all phrasing!
Hello, Cpoticha, welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are a few pages that you might find interesting and helpful:
- Editing: The concise cheatsheet, or the short introduction guide
- Overview: The Wikipedia:Five pillars, condensed philosophy and policies
- Wikipedia:Featured articles, the standard that all articles are trying to achieve (theoretically, eventually)
- Our Wikipedia:Manual of Style
- Help:Contents, the main help menu
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages (the discussion tab) using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date.
Don't be afraid of making mistakes, as all changes are kept, and problems can be easily reverted with the "history" tab of each page.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Quiddity (talk) 19:41, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:28, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
