Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism. Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable. Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created. Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one. Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Sorry Cyril. Upon further review it looks like you weren't actually ADDING vandalism, you just didn't take it all away from what was already there. Also I just want to clarify, I wasn't calling you a vandal by the warning, just that unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. It's subtle, but an important difference. Hello! When you find that someone has been warned many times for vandalism, don't just add a first-level {{test}} notice — go up to the next level of warning. Please refrain from reverting without review

Your revert on The DHARMA Initiative was unneeded. Looking back over your recent contributions, it appears you are making numerous reversions using pop-ups without reviewing the substance of such changes. You reverted a series of vandalisms and you reverted my edit on Photovoltaics. I'm pretty sure my edit was not "obvious vandalism". Well, my revert is not a mistake, but it is not completely fair either! The truth is that I found your edit a bit difficult to understand (but I did notice it, I don't revert a set of edits without looking at them individually). Had it not been surrounded by vandalism, I wouldn't have reverted it, thought. This article is a common target for vandalism or for people who want their "exotic" theory to be publicized. active power factor

sorry for my crudeness in doing that change, I didn't really have much time left and maybe I should have explained better my position.

the fact is that yes you can remove harmonic distortion with passive filters, you just have to design pass-band filters that will direct these harmonics to the ground. I have myself taken a course on harmonic correction last year, and if you're interested I can give you more info (and, naturally, give wikipedia more info) on this when I move back to my home city, where I have the book used for these classes. and that will be next week.

OK, this is clearer. So the paragraph you removed should be rephrased to be more definitive in its statements. Passive filters can only be easily designed with a slow cut-off slope, making the suppression of the first harmonics (e.g third and fifth) almost impossible. - CyrilB 11:50, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello, I didn't read before about you being a researcher in PE. Check this site out, on Download >_> articles there's a lot of things you would need to be in IEEE to find. I think is might be useful for citing as sources per WP:NOR.

Surface-mount technology: why is MQFP listed in "non-packaged devices"?

In the Surface-mount technology, on 7 June 2006, you have "tidied the list". Because of that, MQFP has become part of "non-packaged devices" list. I suspect you have made a typo. Could you please correct it? I am not 100% sure to do it myself. (Also take a look at a talk page for discussion about this issue.) --Alsh 18:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

A propos de Image:Semitrans3_k.gif

Bonjour, je viens de voir sur Commons que vous avez importé cette image en tant qu'auteur. Il me parait étrange que Semikron mette ses images dans le domaine public. Pouvez-vous me confirmer la licence de cette image (sur ma page de discussion sur en)?

À part ça, je suis très content de voir mes figures réutilisées. Pour l'IGBT en tranchée, il aurait peut-être été plus simple de partir de Image:Umos_cross_section_fr.svg? D'ailleurs, si vous avez besoin des fichiers originaux (openoffice), je peux vous les fournir.

Salut Cyril ! En fait jai recopié l'image depuis de : http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Semitrans3_k.gif . Je ne sais pas qui a mis la licence domaine public (je comprend rien à l'allemand :/ ). Pour les figures sur l'IGBT, j'ai effectivement bien galéré pour ajouter 2 traits sous inkscape :$ C'est vraiment pas mon fort, et il y a notamment un vilain carré noir au centre que je n'arrive toujours pas a virer : je l'ai caché avec un carré blanc par dessus mais chut il faut pas le dire :D A bientôt --Zedh msg 20:36, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
