Thank you for fixing the image licenses! Would you have time for lilypond of BWV 101:7? - turning 300 tomorrow Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:33, 3 August 2024 (UTC)

No problem. Not sure if I can get to it tonight, maybe tomorrow. DanCherek (talk) 20:16, 3 August 2024 (UTC)

Lovely, taken, will nominate for GA! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:05, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Today I have two "musicians" on the Main page, one is also the topic of my story, watch and listen! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:18, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
... and a third, like 22 July but with interview and the music to be played today --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:19, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
A bit late: the hymn for this Sunday ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:33, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
On 13 August, Bach's cantata was 300 years old, and the image one. It's nice to have not only a recent death, but also this "birthday" on the Main page. And a rainbow in my places. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:50, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Sunday story about another of Bach's chorale cantatas, listen, as I listened to two impressive very different choral concerts, - music by 16 composers. In the latest cloudy pictures: a hidden deer, a cat and a blaze of a sunset. - A Lilypnd version of the closing chorale would be nice, of course, link under Dahn in the article. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:06, 25 August 2024 (UTC)

taken with pleasure! - Help? My story today is about a woman, nominated for RD but needing support as I write this. A composer died whose article is long and mostly unreferenced. And some articles open for review, always. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:43, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
I logged on too late to react to this, but luckily it looks like it made it! DanCherek (talk) 01:18, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Question from Auberydude (08:01, 27 August 2024)

Hi Dan - I only just noticed you had been assigned my mentor. Thanks for the note! I am more of technological guru (in the video space) but in my spare time i like to write film scripts.

Mark. --Auberydude (talk) 08:01, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Hey Mark, nice to meet you! Interesting stuff. Feel free to stop by here any time you have any questions about editing Wikipedia. DanCherek (talk) 01:19, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Question from Dr.Decapod (23:17, 31 August 2024)

Hello! I have question, I put hours of time and resources into fixing an old article up and someone keeps changing it based on their personal opinion and beliefs. I cite info and they remove it. What is the correct way to deal with this? --Dr.Decapod (talk) 23:17, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

Hi there. Wikipedia:Dispute resolution has more information about the best ways to deal with a situation like this. Essentially, discussing it with the other editor on the talk page of the article is best, and trying to reach a consensus that way. If there continues to be disagreements, then there are more ways to resolve content disputes (such as requesting a third opinion or trying the dispute resolution noticeboard), but these will typically require that a discussion has taken place on the talk page first.
