It seems you are closely connected to Nude Records, otherwise why would you repeatedly remove referenced facts regarding the demise of this record label? Please desist from removing referenced statements.

All the references provided have been checked and read through and there is no mention of the figure £2.25 million except within Lowgold's wikipedia pages ?

"It was later revealed that the label had debts of £2.25 million and chose to not inform its artists of the labels plans to file for liquidation, leaving many of its artists in significant debt. One of the labels artists, Lowgold, later revealed that despite their salaries being repeatedly withheld and suggesting to the label that they would get day jobs, Galpern repeatedly told them there was no need and that they would soon be paid[8]" None of the text above appears in any of the references you have provided  ?

And In company Law you do not need to inform clients a week before it goes into voluntary liquidation . It seems that Nude Records followed all legal guide lines and the letter of the law that were necessary to be taken

"in 1999 the label hit financial difficulties, which led to the label delaying the issuing of new releases and withholding salaries from its artists[6]."

The label hit financial difficulty in 2000 not 99 and where does it say that salaries were withheld from its artists and releases delayed ?

The references 5- 8 are the exact same ones as 1-4 so have been deleted .

It appears that most of the text or statements provided have all been taken from 'Lowgolds website and their biography which they would have a hand in writing . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.220.42.203 (talk) 11:27, 7 May 2012 (UTC) [reply]

Sorry, have corrected the debt amount ot 25 million as per http://web.archive.org/web/20041225160701/www.lowgold.net/news_history.php. Nowhere in the article does it suggest Nude Records didn't follow legal guide lines - it merely highlights the facts of what the situation was and is referenced... it doesn't offer opinion, as no Wikipedia article should. Lowgold were a band on Nude Records, and as such their account is verifiable and clearly referenced. All the references used contained the text in which they are supposed to reference - read them.

SORRY HAVE CORRECTED THE AMOUNT OF 25 MILLION ????? eh? Where u getting this from? first it was 2.25 Million now you have 25 million ...? It was neither or anywhere near this figure . Show me the text that they have in there Biography because we cannot see it .? There is plenty of other information and views with regards this that we could/should ad . Dumbfounded as to why they have a right to put this unfounded information when it's inaccurate and from a written biog they wrote ?

I linked to the reference above. It is from an archived version of the official Lowgold website, click the link then select "impatient?" and the original page will load.

HAVE YOU ACTUALLY READ IT ...CAUSE I SUGGEST YOU DO ? '""I felt like 2.25 million pounds""" ......this is not the amount the co lose ...Its a quote from a band member on being offered the deal in the first place on how they were feeling .. "I remember the feeling when they offered us a deal. It was totally bizarre. I felt like 2.25 million pounds when they told us. But when the Sony thing went pear shaped it was unbelievable asking us not to worry! It was a tall order asking us to stay calm in light of the financial ramifications that the divorce with Sony would undoubtedly bring. You know, we're a pretty cool bunch, but we're not frozen petrol." ALSO - stop changing information inserted in the page to do with the companies distribution and;licensing deals and information with regards Suede ,sony, v2 . The information before the mention of Voluntary Liquidation that is now on the page is correct to do with the companies business arrangements and successes .

If you read the WHOLE ARTICLE is clearly states that Nude Records had debts of 25 million. It is written in context of everyone affected by Nude going into liquidation being shocked at the ammount.

To quote the article:

"Booklets were handed out containing information and statistics regarding the label's financial state. A disbelieving silence gripped the room. The final figure stated that Nude were 25 million in debt."

If you believe this is incorrect, I suggest you contact Lowgold to resolve the matter.

[edit]

In response to your threat of legal action. Firstly, no one actually knows who you are - are you Saul Galpern? Secondly, You should be reminded that any text I've added is referenced from secondary sources. I, nor Wikipedia are responsible for the text on those sources. I personally find it hard to believe that Lowgold, a band that was on Nude, would have written anything libellous on their own official website. Wikipedia isn't a place for people to write their own puff pieces. If you have issues with not wanting details of Nude Records being online for all to see, I suggest you contact a Wikipedia admin to take a look.

And who exactly are you and why you getting involved if you are not A the Administrator or B - a member of Lowgold ? ???? We know that the IP addresses being used are in Liverpool .

I would like to contact the administrator ? Thats what i thought this vandalism section was about .

Nude was a small record company in the 90's that had moderate success at one point where at its most successful managed to turn over just over 2m in 1997 . thats turn over . The company ceased trading in 2001 . Any profits the company made were ploughed back into the business .To have had a debt of 25 m the overheard and expenditure would need to be extraordinary higher and a much much bigger business organisation . It was not a Football club but a small business with staff of around 10 . Where would one get that kind of money exactly ? 25m is absurd , completely incorrect , way out of line, and is total misinformation which yes even if it is listed on the Lowgold site which i still can't find it was put there by them without the correct knowledge . If you check there own Wiki page they also have the same information about Nude and Saul Galpern . Funny that !

You must understand how traumatising an distressing this situation was and is for all involved and ask you to please stop adding this false information and changes and leave it alone now .
