Grace Kennedy

[edit]

Hi - just to let you know that the four articles for Grace Kennedy's albums need to have much better sourcing, otherwise there's a high likelihood that they will be redirected in the future. Discogs is no good as a source, firstly because it can be edited by anyone and that means it fails WP:USERG. But more importantly, it doesn't actually show that the album is notable... it simply proves the album exists and has a track listing. And the same goes for links to Apple Music, Spotify, etc. What these albums need to pass WP:NALBUM are things like newspaper articles about the albums themselves (not about Ms Kennedy), reviews of the albums in reliable sources, chart positions, and awards. Yes, I realise these are going to be difficult to locate for albums released in the late 70s and early 80s, but unfortunately it's going to be necessary. Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Grace Kennedy (album), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected to Grace Kennedy (singer). Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.

Wikipedia:Your first article has more information about creating articles, and you may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Mach61 02:11, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
