Sorry for using this again, but am stuck, don't quite understand what is meant by FairUse etc. This is mainly down to the fact those images are off the home sites. Which afaik covers fair use. Haven't a clue what my msgs mean (ref: Archive 3). Please help :) DannyM 16:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Basically, every fair use image in Wikipedia requires a rationale (reasons why we need to use it in Wikipedia, if it is legal etc). Fair use images without a rationale will be deleted. Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline explains what sort of stuff needs to go into a rationale.--Commander Keane 16:44, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

“Can you, hear, me, when I, sing You're the reason I sing You're the reason why the opera's in me” U2 News "PopMart: Live From Mexico City" will be released on DVD on September 10 (except for the U.S.A). A list of U2's other video releases can be found here. The band have returned from Fez, Morocco, working on their album. According to Adam, “There’s definitely an album in there.” Some possible songs include: “Mercy”, “If I Could Live My Life Again”, and “North Star”. U2's new film, U23D, is due for 3D theatre release later this year. The Republican National Committee has taken the first step to endorsing Bono’s ONE initiative, with a potential donation of 30 billion dollars in U.S. taxes. Their most recent song is a cover of the John Lennon song, Instant Karma! for the album Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign To Save Darfur. All proceeds go to Amnesty International. As you may have noticed, we are now doing themed newsletters. This one (if you haven't already guessed) is How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. Every month the newsletter will have a different theme. There will also be a special edition when the new album is released. Also thanks to Neranei for some of the U2 news. New Members We have two new members since the start of the month! They are Vero444 and MC. We now have 38 members! The Album It was released on November 2004. It was distributed by Island Records and Interscope in the U.S.A. The album was a critical and commercial success. It went to #1 in many countries and sold over 9 million copies worldwide. Bono described the album as "our first rock album. It's taken us twenty years or whatever it is, but this is our first rock album." The album deals with love, war, peace, harmony, and approaching death. The singles released from the album are: Vertigo, All Because of You, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, City of Blinding Lights and Original of the Species. More info from the album page here. Corrections Last month's newsletter incorrectly stated that there were 34 members. This should've been 36. Also, under the "U2 News" section, line 3, instead of saying most recent single it should've said most recent song (this has since been corrected). New Members Our new members this month are Keeper76 and Jort227. We have now reached 40 members. The Album The album was released on October 30, 2000. It debuted at #1 in 28 countries and sold over 12 million copies worldwide. This album marked the end of U2's experimental phase in the 90's. However, they did not really return to their more traditional rock sound until How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. Rolling Stone called it "U2's third masterpiece". The song "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" was written by Bono for his late friend, Michael Hutchence. On several occasions the band said that they were "re-applying for the job of the best band in the world" with this album. The singles released from the album are: Beautiful Day, Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of, Walk On and Elevation. Take a look at the All That You Can't Leave Behind article for more info.

U2 News On September 28, Bono was jointly awarded the Philadelphia Liberty Medal along with DATA. The medal is awarded to recognize leadership in the pursuit of freedom. In his acceptance speech, Bono spoke of those who don't have their liberty and urged Americans to keep working to solve the world's problems. More info here. U2's recent biography, U2 By U2, is now available in paperback in the U.S. The 20th anniversary edition of The Joshua Tree will be released soon; the bonus content includes the Red Hill Mining Town video, often sought by fans. New Members The Album Zooropa was released on July 6, 1993. This album, along with Pop, is considered one of U2's most experimental. It was originally slated to be an EP, but expanded into an LP. It was recorded in between legs on the Zoo TV Tour. Zooropa features a rare lead singing performance by The Edge, on the song Numb. The names of three unfinished songs from the recording sessions -"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me", "If You Wear That Velvet Dress", and "Wake Up Dead Man"- appear superimposed on the cover; "Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me" was used in the Batman Forever soundtrack, and "If You Wear That Velvet Dress" and "Wake Up Dead Man" were included on 1997's "Pop". "Numb" was released in an unlikely format as the first "video single"; the "Numb" video is thought of as one of U2's best. "Some Days are Better Than Others" is the only track to have never been played live. The singles from Zooropa are "Numb", "Lemon", and "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)"

Warrington Borough Transport

Hi Danny, I've been working on an easier to read version of the route table, which can be found at User:Divy/Sandbox - I'd welcome any feedback. It's not as detailed as the existing one, but I think it's more legible. I've also removed the details about low-floor buses, as none of the services are advertised as such these days. This is due to new legislation which means that if a service is advertised as being accessible, it must be so else compensation applies. I was hoping I could slip it into place at the same time as the February 11 2008 service changes. Divy (talk) 11:32, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

I've put a dash in instead of the text "No service", because I think if we were to put the text in then visually it would look as important as the actual frequency, even though there isn't one by definition. Crewe services

Hey there Danny (if you preferred to be called that)

I noticed on your edits on Crewe railway station, particularly the services. As a note I think it could be expanded but I just wanted to see if you agree:

• For Manchester Piccadilly services, I believe Virgin Trains operate a few services during the evenings and very early morning.
  • One could also note that going via Stoke-on-Trent to Manchester is quicker by about an hour as opposed to travelling via Crewe. Plus apparently, according to my Uni mate who comes from Hastings, the service was rubbish via Crewe.
• Virgin also operate services to Chester because of their North Wales bound services, or do you just mean services that terminate at Chester? Btw, if it's worth anything, that service has no stops between it's start and it's terminus. ;-)
• One could also note a Virgin Trains service that goes via Crewe and Stoke very late at night.
• Speaking of London Midland, I think there are a few services that travel to Walsall although I think there are more that go beyond New Street. Also, there is a Limited service to that terminates at Preston.
• I think you've forgotten the Shrewsbury local services as well. ;-)

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to South TransPennine, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.'
