Footnotes and text-source integrity

[edit]

Hi DobbysWorld, I noticed in this pair of edits that you'd removed a number of in-text citations (these[1] guys[2]) from the body of the article. Please don't do this unless you're sure that the remaining in-text citations still support the article content. Following the principle of WP:Text-source integrity, references should appear immediately after the content they support. Ideally, all material should be followed by the source that the Wikipedian found it in; see our WP:Verifiability policy. Thanks, and happy editing. – Anon423 (talk) 18:28, 1 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Section blanking habit, student group?

[edit]

On another note, I've noticed that you seem to be working with a number of new editors, including Vontrapp80, such as on Editar Adhiambo Ochieng. Out of curiosity, are you or the others part of a class or other group? I've noticed a pattern of removing sections before replacing them, which I might recommend against since it leads to annoyances such as duplicated references and makes the edit history more difficult to follow. Let me know if you have any questions (you can reply here or go to my talk page), or perhaps visit the WP:Teahouse for friendly help. – Anon423 (talk) 18:28, 1 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
