Thanks for the chuckle [1]. Dorftrottel (warn) 19:51, May 2, 2008

Heh, anytime. Unfortunately, I really do think that's the best way to deal with that user and his fanatical inclusionism. Doctorfluffy (fart in my face) 20:00, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, there is a much bigger problem with fanatical deletionism. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 21:00, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ooh, another clueful, nicely worded quote for my userpage, if I may, Doc? LGRdC, you should occasionally look into that issue of yours; you're apparently incapable of resisting to hit that edit button. Don't get me wrong, it's a bad habit I share, but speaking as a fellow sufferer, I can say with confidence that I have never seen another case as godawfully severe as yours. In the Jaina Solo AfD, you commented 31 times, your original Strong keep excluded. And, no, the cultural egalitarianism which has caught up with Wikipedia two years ago, and the neverending, accelerating influx of idiocy both in the increasing majority of new editors with issues and the cruft they are spewing about is a far bigger problem than deleting a few articles which can be properly recreated (with sources and stuff) at any time with zero effort compared to the stress you are giving people with your reason-proof wall of empty politeness. Dorftrottel (harass) 21:27, May 2, 2008
I would be able to take criticisms more seriously if those making them argued to keep at least as frequently as I argue to delete, as I did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Markael James or Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Albert Ramos Jr. There are indeed articles that urgently need to be addressed, but these fiction related ones created in good faith do not require any kind or urgent deletion, especially when multiplae editors are working on them. Anyway, I wouldn't be able to continue discussing with editors in AfDs if they also did not respond to my own replies with questions of their own. It takes two to tango, I think. By the way, no matter how mean anyone is to me, I am indeed still willing to not only be polite with them, but to even make gestures of good will, as I did when I reverted vandalism here. Best, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 21:37, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Le Grand, I must admit that I didn't read the comment I am responding to - in fact, I rarely read your longer comments anymore - but as I recall you really know how to bring the lulz to debates. Keep on truckin. Best Sincerely Truly Always, Doctorfluffy (fart in my face) 22:07, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha. No kidding, I read only your reply. Dorftrottel (bait) 22:41, May 2, 2008

sig

[edit]

Please change your signature to one that is not scatological. DGG (talk) 18:55, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is that a request or a directive? Doctorfluffy (fart in my face) 19:01, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
More importantly, the request comes from an inclusionist. Dorftrottel (complain) 23:55, May 3, 2008
who has deleted about 30 articles today already, including about 20 on fictional characters. Adding it up, I seem to delete about 10 a day on the average, 3000 articles a year. Very few so-called deletionists come near that number. That's about 3 times as many as I rescue. Rescuing is harder. You both might want to give it a try :).
Anyway, I'm glad you've changed it, & realise it's to your interest to be sensible about this.DGG (talk) 01:04, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leiths Group

I added some references to Leiths Group. You may want to revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leiths Group. --Eastmain (talk) 23:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FYI AN/I

[edit]

See here. Regards, SHEFFIELDSTEELTALK 23:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise FYI, the anon editing IAmSasori's talk page was not him, thanks for reverting that. If you fight vandals often, you'll want to get into the habit of leaving warnings on their talk pages afterward. The ordinary test templates serve as a "we are watching" announcement, though this guy would've known that so I told him that vandalizing userspace encourages people, noted that we do give bans and added a cool link because, hey, it's a cool link.

It's funny and somewhat encouraging to see how editors trying to row in different directions come together to bounce on those trying to drill a hole in the bottom. So thanks. I've done vandalism duty for Collins' and Merridew's user pages in my time. This is reminiscent of the early-90s multiplayer computer strategy game VGA Planets which youy've never heard of, so the way it worked was that first, everyone kills the Privateers, second, everyone kills the Privateers again, third, all the proper people square off. :P --Kizor 12:47, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I play VGA Planets in DOSBox actually. I'll fight vandals till the day I die, but I'm usually too lazy to template their talk. I suppose I could start since Twinkle makes it pretty easy. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 16:27, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh great, now my previous message looks all arrogant. I figured "what are the odds?" Since you do know your strategies, though, could you please review this edit? It felt off, hindered by my language background.

I don't know Twinkle, but yeah, the hardest part of leaving user talk messages is probably getting into the habit. --Kizor 18:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would appreciate some input

I am trying to generate some discussion about clear inclusion criteria for IPC sections and articles. I would like if WP:IPC were to become a guideline, but it needs some work and fresh ideas. All thoughts are welcome. --NickPenguin(contribs) 01:53, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good night

[edit]

Well, my dog’s tail amputation surgery is but hours away in the morning, so, good night for now. --Happy editing! Sincerely, Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 04:35, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck. Doctorfluffy (robe and wizard hat) 04:38, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks.  :) --Happy editing! Sincerely, Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 04:43, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The vet took off several inches of tail where the ruptured tumor was and removed 8 other elsewhere on her body. She's apparently not taking it too well. --Happy editing! Sincerely, Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 19:59, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
