Bink

[edit]

Your recent edits to the Bink (record producer) page have been reverted and have been deemed "unconstructive". I specifically told you and other editors that if there is an issue and you believe the order of the production credits should be listed from new to old, instead of its standard chronological order, then discuss it on the talk page. Please do not make any more unconstructive edits otherwise you will be blocked. ChocoLantern88 (talk) 23:11, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Next time leave your messages on my talk page - here, or respond back here on your own talk page, not my main User page. It does not matter if you are the "representative" of the person, you can not make disruptive changes on the page continuously and then not give a proper reasoning as to why you are doing this, especially when you have been warned multiple times by other Wikipedians. Hello ENKWMS. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Live Footage (Band)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Live Footage (Band)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 02:30, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Hill Kourkoutis.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hill Kourkoutis.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 09:41, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

image deleted

[edit]

Hi There. for the image File:Hill Kourkoutis of Hill and Sky Heroes.jpg you stated that it was under a creative commons licence and that the license could be seen on the webpage http://hillandtheskyheroes.com/. What I can see on that page is the clear statement "© 2015 Hill & The Sky Heroes - All Rights Reserved." so I've had to delete the image - Peripitus (Talk) 07:25, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Hill K.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hill K.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, ENKWMS. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Thank you.

I was not paid to edit anything.

[edit]

There is no conflict of interest.

This person has notable accomplishments.

I inquired about it to every person who requested to delete his page.

I want to correct the problem.

I have no financial interest I this. ENKWMS (talk) 13:21, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If as you have stated that you were asked to make changes to an article by a representative of the subject of an article, you unambiguously have a conflict of interest. That isn't debatable. You will be expected to follow the best practices outlined in the links above regarding conflict of interest, which include (but are not limited to) not editing any article on which you have a conflict directly, but instead making edit requests on the article talk page; declaring your conflict with every edit you make regarding the affected articles, no matter where you make them and submitting any new articles you have conflict on via WP:AFC. Wikipedia is not a promotional vehicle. John from Idegon (talk) 06:23, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
