Dear Nuggeteer,
Thank you for reviewing my article on Lisa A. Gennetian. It is my first one, and I want to get it right. I have reviewed the WP:RS guidelines and the Referencing for Beginners pages you recommended.
My working theory is that the main problem is that I am over-relying on her profile page at Duke. Is that correct?
I also rely on the profile pages of the organizations she has been affiliated with to establish her affiliation. Should I refrain from doing that too?
I looked at other academic pages (Alan Sokol, Paul R. Gross, and others), and found that they usually didn't substantiate that they worked at a particular university or studied a particular topic in their first paragraphs.
Finally, as I re-read it, I realized that some evaluating language needed to be removed: claims like "top journals," "best known for," or "widely regarded" have been removed.
Thanks again for any guidance. I am eager to move onto other topic for Wikipedia.
