Request reason:

Hi Alexf, I did a WP:SPLIT of waterline to Ship's load line according to the description at the page. Every step was done according to the manual. Yes, I moved a lot of text, but everything was done as explained. Einsenkungsmarke (talk) 01:02, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Ok, but that needed a clear explanation. It is not what it looked like in the edit filters, which kept repeatedly triggering and stopping you from removing chunks of text. A clear explanation in the talk page would always be welcome. -- Alexf(talk) 01:25, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for unblocking. Sorry, for me not being clear enough, but I thought I explained the overall intention rather explicit with the first edit preparing the split on the waterline page (with the edit description giving the reason). The removal of the chunks probably could have had more clear wording, but for me it was in the context of the whole move, so I considered it to be "good enough". Obviously not. --Einsenkungsmarke (talk) 01:36, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ship's load line[edit]

Moving that to Load line (vessel) does not work. Have a look at the number of things called a vessel. Some people won't think of a ship when seeing the word vessel. In fact I thought of the pressure vessel that we compress hydrogen into to inflate balloons. Look at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Controversial and follow the instructions. If you have any questions feel free to ask. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 03:26, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @CambridgeBayWeather, see my reply at Talk:Ship's load line. Better to discuss it there where others can see it and participate. Einsenkungsmarke (talk) 12:40, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
