On this day in 1742, He was despised was performed for the first time, and when I wrote it in 2012, I didn't only think of Jesus. Andreas Scholl sang that for us, - I remember your help with that article with thanks. You are invited to a Baroque stroll. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:45, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

He helped me to write my only DYK article. He was so experienced and I was (and still am in many ways) so inexperienced--I felt that he had taken me under his wing. It made for a learning and enjoyable experience. It seems that this place is so ready to kick someone out for calling someone a name but so ready to not take note of all the good they have done for this place. I felt an emotional connection to Eric. I still miss him. It would be good to hear from him in the same way that it is good to hear from sibs, parents, old friends, and such. Dicklyon, I linked to a discussion. Eric was always polite to me, on top of being an endless source of knowledge. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:19, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
