Sandbox

[edit]

Hey, Check out this video to see how to create your own sandbox. Post your article there and get it reviewed by your Campus Ambassadors and/or Professors and when you are sure that you have enough information to put it on main space, do put it and again edit in your sandbox. Best method is to do a type of continuously evaluation. Do not write the whole article at one go and paste it on main space from your sandbox, do it bit by bit so that other users can help you build your article. Happy editing.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Exchange/Platform requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your addition to Small And Medium Enterprise(SME) exchange/platform has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:27, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for advertising or self-promoting and repeated recreation under various spelling of Small and medium enterprises(SME) exchange in violation of the conflict of interest policy and notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 08:56, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is to express my regret for violating the copyright policy as a result of which I am blocked. This was because I am a new user and therefore was not well aware of the working of wikipedia. Having understood everything by now I assure you that the same shall not be repeated again and I shall adhere to the rules and norms.

Hi Kudpung!
First of all I would like to apologize on behalf of this user, I'm the Campus Ambassador for her class and personally met her and told her about the violation, and she promised me not to repeat this in future. The student is a part of India Education Program, WP:IEP and is fairly new in terms of Wikipedia Editing. Please unblock the IP address coz it's her college's lab ip and none of the students are able to do the editing and their deadline are approaching real fast.
Accept our apologies and please unblock her asap.
Cheers,

Hi Examsandacademics. Following a discussion with User:Ramshankaryadav, I have unblocked your account. Please be sure to understand that you cannot use material copied from other websites or books, and that if you do base information on other sources, you must write your content in your own words and provide correctly sourced references. Sources of the kind we need for establishing notability might sometimes be very difficult to find, and if they can't be found, then unfortunately we can't use the article. You would then need to find something else to write about. Alwats consider writing new articles in your user space first, or using WP:AfC before posting them to a live main page - then you won't be blocked when someone reviews them for you. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Decline reason:

You've been blocked several times for the same thing. I believe that unblocking you will only lead to more issues. I'm sorry it's interfering with your school projects, but we cannot allow you to continue to edit in the way you have been. only (talk) 21:00, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for repeated copyright violations. You must learn that Wikipedia articles are not made by copying chunks of text verbatim from other sources. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
