Dear Gusfriend, I have changed all the references citing them as footnotes. I have also checked the eight academic-specific criteria and it looks to me that they are all satisfied. If you think they are not, could you please point out which one is not met? Finally, as per your comment on the H-index, I have two answers: (1) the H-index of mathematicians is usually broadly distributed depending on the field of research. You can easily check on the university website that he is a full professor; (2) in the last few years, there have been a huge shift in the research system against the use of bibliometrics (such as H-index) because they are often flawed proxies of good quality - the president of the European Research Council has recently announced that the ERC evaluations will move away from bibliometrics: https://sciencebusiness.net/news/european-research-council-announces-plan-update-its-evaluation-system Best, Marco Fernpendler (talk) 10:33, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree that h Index is too low. Looking at the references for WP:GNG, they are mainly profiles and mentions so would not show notability. Is it possible there is more in-depth coverage in French or another language outside of English?
