Welcome

[edit]

Welcome, Fire67! First, let me thank you for being so observant of Wikipedia's COI guidelines. This is the place where you want to go: Wikipedia:Requested articles. You can even submit your draft as part of that process. Make sure you disclose your COI again. Good luck! If, on the other hand, you decide to start an article on a topic with which you have no COI, please go ahead and dig in. Dppowell (talk) 23:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thanks for the pointer. Things don't seem to move very quickly with requested articles, I'm a little concerned my request will get lost. I've posted to the drawing board, we'll see what happens. I may be back to bother you if no-one else responds. :-) Fire67 (talk) 23:42, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, technically, there's nothing stopping you from unilaterally creating the article, but if you go that route, be prepared to encounter some editorial predjudice. Again, good luck. Dppowell (talk) 00:05, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That'd be excellent, thanks for taking the time to look it over! I'm continuing to discuss improvements to the page's sourcing with Moonriddengirl on the drawing board. Fire67 (talk) 22:40, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Rather than rush into this today, I'll wait a day or two for further developments on the various pages where it is being discussed. — Athaenara 23:53, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks very much! Would you be willing to watchlist the article's talk page? I'll make future requests there, but I doubt it'll be getting much traffic. Fire67 (talk) 22:40, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome (watchlisted when I moved it). — Athaenara 23:46, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry, I'm not expecting a fairy godmother (per your edit summary). Although I wouldn't object to having one. :-) I'll keep an eye on the article and get help as necessary, through WP:COIN or WP:Third opinion if no-one shows up on the talk page. Fire67 (talk) 00:08, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Puget Systems Logo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Puget Systems Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:23, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
