Janitor...? (House, M.D. episode, Son of Coma Guy edit.)
[edit]Wait, what? Didn't House only THINK the Buraku man was a janitor? I don't think he actually was... I'm going to edit that a bit, but if anyone has evidence that he really was a janitor with unexpected medical knowledge, please correct it. Here's what was said:
"When I was 14, my father was stationed in Japan. I went rock climbing with this kid from school. He fell, got injured and I had to bring him to the hospital. We came in through the wrong entrance, passed this guy in the hall. It was a janitor. My friend came down with an infection and the doctors didn't know what to do. So they brought in...the janitor. He was a doctor and a Buraku, one of Japan's untouchables. His ancestors had been slaughterers, gravediggers. This guy, he knew that he wasn't accepted by the staff, didn't even try. He didn't dress well, he didn't pretend to be one of them. The people that ran that place, they didn't think that he had anything they wanted. Except when they needed him. Because he was right. Which meant that nothing else mattered. They had to listen to him."
He wasn't dressed like a doctor, because he just didn't try to be; he wasn't actually a janitor, right?

............ "This user enjoys ice skating."
"I am... a hikikomori"
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.205.4.67 (talk) 14:57, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hikikomori can't like ice skating? News to me. Yeeeeah. I've been a hikikomori for about two years, and /before then/, I had been ice skating for about eight. Just because I don't /still/ ice skate doesn't mean I don't /like/ it, and I certainly intend on doing it again if and when I reintegrate into society... 火の王国の王女 ~Fire Nation Princess~ (talk) 07:07, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
Oooooooh..... never mind then.
"Hikikomori" can like ice skating, they just, you know, CAN'T ice skate. Unless we are talking about someone fairly rich with a rink built into their home.
The term's an overly subjective load of cobblers anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.205.4.69 (talk) 06:34, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
