Since this is an auto-block that happens only when I'm posting from my work machine, does this mean that I can never remove the unblock request? Or that I can remove it after some period of time? I don't see an expiration date. I want to ensure I'm remaining in full compliance of the Wikipedia rules, and I've searched the website but don't see clear guidance regarding this particular situation. I don't see much point in keeping the unblock request here if this applies only to attempts to post from work (which I won't do any more, since clearly there's no motivation to do so and getting special permission is unlikely and unnecessary).
Thanks!

- Your account is not blocked, so you can remove the unblock request anytime. Those rules apply only to direct blocks. I also ran CheckUser to see what web host we're talking about, and I've changed that block to anon-only, so you should be able to edit from that location with your account (not logged out, so don't try that) without difficulty. If you continue to see the block notice while you're logged in, let us know. :-) Katietalk 15:59, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
