Ciao!

[edit]

My advice is to write to some English mothertongue editor, asking for help after you added something you are not sure of (for language). Ciao e buon divertimento. --'''Attilios''' (talk) 17:33, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Italian articles

[edit]

Hey, thanks for making the Italian village articles. But can you please have a reference added to them. This would reduce the chance of them from getting deleted. Thank you. --Calaka (talk) 11:25, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!!

[edit]

HI I've noticed you about with creating frazione! Nice work! I meant good faith with the frazione template deletion nomination, the idea was exactly as you have done with Castelnuovo (Assisi), I think that article looks great as a stub. Himalayan 21:09, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I gave up and added <center> tags. If Chris can come up with a better solution, I am willing to try it. But for now, it appears the center tag fixes the problem. Thanks again. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 04:20, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just converted another one, see here. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:11, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Spina Nuova

[edit]

Hello Francesco Betti Sorbelli, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I declined the speedy deletion of Spina Nuova - a page you tagged - because: Locations are not eligible for speedy deletion. Please consult WP:AfD. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. PeterSymonds (talk) 21:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Please don't create new categories for tiny comunes - these are being deleted; please do mention the frazione in the comune articles. That is all that is needed. Johnbod (talk) 13:43, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Monza

[edit]

If there is a box saying that there is a major edit underway, it means THERE IS A MAJOR EDIT UNDERWAY! Seriously man, you're fucking the page up. It's not about who can do it the fastest, it's abut getting the information RIGHT. I just went and edited the page because I've been doing it FOR THE LAST FUCKING HOUR only to find that you've come in and your page is loaded with errors anddead links. Seriously, can't you read? Prisonermonkeys (talk) 13:14, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is the right way of talking to a fellow editor and the wrong way. You, Prisonermonkeys are going about it the wrong way. You are being extremely rude and uncivil. And you don't need to keep repeating the same profanity to make your point.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 17:39, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date linking

[edit]

Please do not wikilink dates. It is quite obvious what a date is, and no additional information is gained from from the link. It is similar to wikilinking every word that appears in a sentence. --Falcadore (talk) 11:13, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010 Bahrain Grand Prix

[edit]

It is still far too early to be creating 2010 race articles. Certainly not until the new year. --Falcadore (talk) 05:19, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry I do beg for your pardon upon my error. --Falcadore (talk) 09:59, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

HI, I've just expanded Acerno. Howver, Iam not fluent in Italian, could you proof read it and check it with this and add any missing info/correct it. Shouldn't take you 5 mins, I have nominated it for a DYK BTW. Himalayan 19:00, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks "Francesco", good to know the translation was good. Ciao! Himalayan 20:44, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grazie per avermi indicato su cosa dovevo inserire nei gironi di Serie D per avere il risultato dei punti di penalizzazione. Ho cercato ovenque e dovunque vedevo, trovavo soltanto altri metodi. RfDs

[edit]

Hi. I notice that a couple of days ago you added {{rfd}} templates to the following redirects: 2009 Japan Grand Prix, 2010 Singapur Grand Prix, 2008 Singapur Grand Prix, Singapur Grand Prix, 2009 f1 season, 2009 Macau Formula BMW Pacific Round, 2009 Japanese Formula BMW Pacific Round, 2009 Singapore Formula BMW Pacific Round, 2009 Indonesian Formula BMW Pacific Round, 2009 Malaysian Formula BMW Pacific Round, but you didn't add them to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion. Was that an oversight? Or did you deliberately not add them to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion for some reason? Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 22:53, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Now that you've added them to the list at WP:RfD, what is your rationale for deletion? If the nominator doesn't supply a rationale, a RfD nomination/discussion could be speedily closed without any further action. B.Wind (talk) 15:49, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

The images you uploaded to the 2009 Messina floods and mudslides article look good, however if the original uploader of the photos doesn't specify copyright status, they'll be deleted which would be a shame.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 16:10, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of a redundant category

[edit]

Please, could you AVOID to create like-empty categories for italian little municipalities ? It is completely redundant and useless. It is also a non-sense to create a semi-empty category without the catmain.

They were also lot of category like this created by you and all deleted for redundance: this one, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Please, stop doing it, because it could be considered vandalism. --95.239.29.252 (talk) 23:25, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated March 2010 Kepulauan Obi earthquake, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/March 2010 Kepulauan Obi earthquake. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
