Review of my user page

[edit]

Hello, I saw your edits to the Allusion page. Every unreviewed page has a link that says something like "Mark this page as patrolled" at the bottom; if I find such a link, I have a strong urge to click it, so that's what I did on your user page. Graham87 15:03, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Thanks! I was just curious. Futurebuilder1 (talk) 18:33, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Jones page

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CAPTAIN RAJU. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Bob Jones have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. CAPTAIN RAJU () 19:25, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about that page. I accidentally created that page. Futurebuilder1 (talk) 18:11, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple accounts

[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia - the use of multiple accounts on Wikipedia is somewhat restricted. Could you explain why you have both this account, and Spoon2978? -- samtar talk or stalk 19:56, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't change my username of spoon2978 to futurebuilder1. Futurebuilder1 (talk) 18:12, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, an encyclopedia project, rather than a personal web space

I'm concerned about how you see this project, and whether your edits so far really belong here. Accordingly, please see the following discussion on the admin noticeboard:

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 17:14, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Can you please unblock me? I don't think I did anything wrong. I was blocked for a reason I don't understand. I'm sorry if I did cause any trouble. I promise I won't cause any trouble in the future if I'm unblocked. Once again, I apologize if I have done something. I'll read through the rules to see if there's a rule I broke. I hope that you'll unblock me! Thank you for your time in reading my block appeal! Futurebuilder1 (talk) 19:53, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. [stwalkerster|talk] 20:00, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I apologize for breaking the rules here on Wikipedia. I'm here to contribute to Wikipedia. I hope that you will unblock me so that I can again help Wikipedia! Futurebuilder1 (talk) 05:12, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was blocked because I was making contributions that weren't useful to Wikipedia. It seemed as if I was not here to contribute to an encyclopedia. I apologize for making contributions that weren't necessary. I will not continue to cause damage and disruption to Wikipedia. I promise that I will begin making useful contributions. I would like to be able to contribute to Wikipedia in a positive way. I really enjoy helping and contributing to things. I hope you will unblock me! Thank you for your time in reading my block appeal!

Decline reason:

You're saying what you think we want to hear, true or not (see your user page and below). That shows you cannot be trusted to improve the encyclopedia with accurate information. Huon (talk) 02:30, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see on your other userpage that you have been an editor here since the year 2000. I find this very impressive, as Wikipedia was only founded in the year 2001! an explanation would be appreciated. Without making a comment on your block, I would like your explanation as to how, after being an editor here (either as an IP or as a further undisclosed account) for some sixteen years, by your own account, you were ignorant of the very simple method for achieving a change of username. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:06, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I admit that I hadn't looked up how to change my username, but another staff here gave me the okay of having two accounts. Futurebuilder1 (talk) 17:02, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a diff referring to that discussion? I'd be interested to see "a staff" who was unaware of both how to rename an account, and why this wouldn't be a valid reason for an alternate account. Andy Dingley (talk) 17:06, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And I would also be interested to know just what you mean by "staff" anyway. I am going to give you, now, a seriously good piece of advice. When you are in a hole, stop digging. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 16:09, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
