We have re-edited the information. We believe is important for people to know factual information and although, we have more facts we have been delicate to post these are this contain violent acts performed by this player. Please read the new edit and advice if it's ok to post. We believe in social responsibility. Colina was traded from the Lancaster team to the Riversharks where he played for 2 seasons. He was not called again by the Sharks. But, later played with the Blue crabs in Southern Maryland. In MD Colina failed to deliver consistency and was not called again. While living in MD, Alvin Colina was arrested for shoplifting. It appears to be this was not a first offense and records indicate that he has been arrested before. Colina seems to have had a few incidents with the law in the United States and as of now he resides in his home country Venezuela.

You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Alvin Colina. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 17:54, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Welcome!

Hello, GJ2011, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Spanish; did you know there is a Spanish Wikipedia? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! If you need help, please feel free to notify me on my talk page. 331dot (talk) 18:29, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

¡Bienvenido!

¡Hola GJ2011, bienvenido a Wikipedia! 331dot (talk) 18:29, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adding information

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Alvin Colina. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 19:52, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please stop adding a Spanish translation of the article; this is not the Spanish Wikipedia. You are free to edit there if you wish. 331dot (talk) 19:54, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Theresa is no things wrong with this informaciones since is factual — Preceding unsigned comment added by GJ2011 (talkcontribs)
Saying he "disgraced the athletic community" is an opinion, not a fact. I have removed it. If a citeable source expressed that opinion, such a statement needs to be worded to make it clear it is the opinion of that source. 331dot (talk) 22:43, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I rewrote the addition as your wording was poor and ran afoul of WP:BLP. Noting the shoplifting arrest in one quick sentence was all that was needed, the extra puffery was useless. I won't block you for edit warring since you at least stopped, but don't continually undo without discussion in the future. Wizardman 14:54, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
