Northwest or North West?

[edit]

Hi — I'm about to accept your Draft:Northwest England Electrification schemes, and just wanted to ask whether the 'Northwest' in the title refers to the UK gov't region of North West England, or to some other definition thereof? I need to decide what article name to give this when published ('North West' or 'Northwest'?), and whether to add a link to the North West England article.

Also, a related minor point: I assume there's no need to capitalise 'electrification'; it's just a common noun, right?

Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:58, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Great catch. I was going to say it does not matter. I live in Northwest Georgia- Dalton to be precise and so have used American English etc. Googling that for anything to do with the UK gives North West. So since the article is about the UK I suggest you are correct and page should be moved to North West. Also, electrification is a noun so no capitals for a British English article is perfectly fine GRALISTAIR (talk) 16:15, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Aniline diglycidyl ether moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Aniline diglycidyl ether, is not suitable as written to remain published. It is incomplete and also needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Weaver Junction

[edit]

I'd be surprised to see it close in delete, and think you would have a good case at Deletion Review if it were. Garuda3 (talk) 16:23, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Let's not prejudge the closer, but as Garuda3 writes, the forum to complain about out-of-policy deletions is WP:Deletion review. I'd suggest in the meantime disengaging from the AfD. Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 23:10, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
