I am not attached to any username I was just trying to be consistent, apologies. 1. I am not receiving any contribution, didn't even know that was possible. 2. Now I think I understand what not to do. 3. My contributions will be about cultural topics: philosophy, black celebs. 4. new username: casjams - do you change that or do I? this is informational not promotional...don't really understand how it could be seen as such. I merged your requests, only one is needed at a time. On Wikipedia there is no distinction between "informational" and "promotional"(see WP:YESPROMO). Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the subject, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability.
