NER Class Z moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, NER Class Z, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:51, 25 December 2022 (UTC)

LNER Class D47 moved to draftspace (Undersourced)
Thanks for creating LNER Class D47. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Jamiebuba (talk) 10:17, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Wikipedia:WikiProject User warnings does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Copyright, again
Much of Draft:LNER Class D47 is closely paraphrased from [1]. This is unacceptable. Wikipedia content must be written in your own words. Take a look here. This is not your first warning about copyright, and if you continue to introduce copyrighted material into Wikipedia, you will be blocked. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 20:02, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

NER Class 4CC moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, NER Class 4CC, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look. And please remember, re-adding uncited material is considered disruptive editing as per #2 at WP:DISRUPTSIGNS, which is policy, and could get you blocked from editing.Onel5969 TT me 15:11, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Moved it to mainspace myself; feel like three sources is ok for a start; other people can add more, and in mainspace more people are likely to be able to view it. Lot of citations (did i place a citation everywhere i could?), and you can also help on it. Ilovejames5🚂:) 11:51, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
A few bits of advice
Hello, Ilovejames5. Here are a few bits of advice, which I offer in the hope that at least some of them may be helpful to you. Over the years I have offered various kinds of advice to new or fairly new editors who are not yet clear about some aspects of how Wikipedia works, and some have taken the advice, some haven't. Probably more have than haven't, but obviously it's up to you whether you take this advice or not.
- You posted to my talk page about a mistake you thought I had made. You wrote "If this happens again, I will certainly have to report it-especially if you repeat this mistake." I suggest that in future, if you have cause to write to an editor about a mistake you think they have made, it might be a better idea to write something which seems more like a friendly attempt to help the person who has made the mistake. There are several reasons for this, including the following. (1) You are more likely to find that people take notice of what you say, and cooperate with you, if you come across as maaking a friendly attempt to help, than if you come across as agrressive. (2) If you do find it necessary to "report" someone else, the people considering your report are more likely to be sympathetic to your case if they see you as an editor trying to be constructive and helpful. This is paticularly so if the other person is seen as uncooperative, because confronted by one person who seems cooperative and another who seems uncooperative, the one who is seen as cooperative will be more likely to get support, whereas if both seem uncooperative then other people are likely to think that neither of them is worthy of support.
- Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. It is, therefore, considered helpful to warn new editors when they make mistakes. However, if an editor has been warned several times about one thing, it is not necessary to keep on warning them of the same thing over and over again. You have had at least ten messages about copyright on your talk page. By now, therefore, you should know about it, and you don'thave to keep being told about it every time you edit contrary to Wikipedia's copyright policy. Wikipedia policy is that copyright infringing text should be deleted immediately, and there is no requirement to warn an editor each time if they clearly already know about the issue.
- You have been a Wikipedia editor for about seven weeks. Much of your editing has been to peripheral areas of Wikipedia, such as joke pages in user space or Wikipedia space, and you have made a total of 612 edits to articles. When you think that a mistake has been made by someone who has been a Wikipedia editor for over 16 years, including over 12 years as an administrator, and made over 170,000 edits, you may like to consider the possibility that it could be you who are mistaken. Of course we all make mistakes, and it is perfectly possible for someone with very little experience to notice a mistake made by someone with much more experience, but it may be advisable to bear in mind the other (and perhaps far more likely) possibility that it is the inexperienced editor who is mistaken, and approach the matter in a spirit close to "I wonder if you may perhaps have made a mistake", rather than lecturing the person who you think has made a mistake.
As I said above, I offer this advice in the hope that some or all of it may be helpful to you. If you need clarification of any of what I have said, please feel very welcome to ask me. JBW (talk) 21:49, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

- My first edits were certainly good, back then i just made small edits, so they were less likely to have problems. I’ll go back to those pages to work on them. Ilovejames5🚂:) 13:09, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, and wait quite a while before doing anything bigger such as creating new articles. That way any mistakes they make will be small ones, and they won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, they can get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while they will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. The first edit I made with this account was removing an apostrophe which shouldn't have been there, and although most of my earliest edits weren't as trivial as that, they were mostly pretty small changes. (I say "the first edit I made with this account", because before that I had made a few edits as an IP editor, but I don't remember anything at all about those edits.) JBW (talk) 17:33, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- I would definitely agree with this statement. When I started out, all I really did was make grammatical or spelling changes or ask questions (albeit my first edit summary was rather rude and probably wouldn't be acceptable now), and I slowly worked my way up to various things such as anti-vandalism or adding more content to articles and even creating some articles (tho I've still only created 2 because of my narrow interest in articles I wish to create). Yes I did sort of have a head start since I knew how to make use of Wikitext from when I edited Fandom wikis, however working on stuff on Fandom is much different than working on things here on Wikipedia due to Fandom being much more relaxed in its rules. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:44, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Final warning for copyvio
[2] Once again, parts of this article are very closely paraphrased from an online source. Copyright violation
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the User talk:Ilovejames5 article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

- I can see that you came to edit Wikipedia with a lot of enthusiasm, no doubt with high hopes of what you expected to do here. It must be very disappointing, to say the least, to have your hopes dashed in this way. I gave you some advice a while ago, in the hope that it would help you to settle in as a Wikipedia editor, and it's disappointing that it didn't work, but I will now give you some more advice, in the hope that this time it may be more helpful. Reading all the things that people have written to you, your reaponses to those messages, and the ways you have continued to edit following the messages, I'm afraid it is clear that you really haven't understood a lot of the points that people have tried to make. The best way forward for you now is to forget about editing Wikipedia for a couple of years, and if after that time you are still interested in contributing, come back and request an unblock. After that much time there's a good chance that you will be able to have a better grasp of the various issues, and I for one would be willing to give you another chance. @JBW:, I have totally learned my lesson, please unblock me. After that I will make sure to follow all policies, and you will see I am clearly an editor who is trying to improve Wikipedia. Please accept my request, because I really need to be unblocked. I am not an editor who only edits disruptively. After you unblock me and a few months passes, you will see my competence to edit here. I am completely fed up with this block, and it is honestly overly annoying. Please unblock me ASAP. Decline reason:
We can't wait a few months for you to gain competence. Your unblock requests aren't convincing anyone. Step away. en.wikipedia isn't the place for you at this time. Request reason:
I am completely fed up with the rude tone of the previous decline, and I am certainly going to not edit disruptively ever again. Also I expect a respond with a more polite tone. Please unblock me, because I have many good-faith edits that this annoying block prevented. Even if you don’t immediately accept, please give me a second chance. Decline reason:
Absolutely not at this point. You need to walk away from the project for some time, and to be blunt grow up. Take 6-12 months, review our policies on copyright, how to behave on Wikipedia and then come back with a solid unblock request and it will be reviewed fairly.
