Greece opinion polls

I have to agree with the addition of the EK disqualification milestone, because I have good reason to believe that it will affect subsequent opinion polling in the run-up to the next election, in the context of EK having been tracked for quite a while. A similar arrangement exists in Opinion polling for the next Ukrainian parliamentary election and Opinion polling for the next United Kingdom general election. I can assure you that I do not intend to list every political event in Greece, but only those that directly affect the opinion polls. --Minoa (talk) 10:32, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

It's an event. Opinion polling articles are not listings of events. The UK election article is the only one so far where a more-or-less established consensus exists on events (and it's a very restrictive one, events such as the one you propose wouldn't be included under such consensus), but it's not appliable to other articles (users typically add events there on their own leisure, but trend in Wikipedia actually moves towards removing these, not the other way around). Impru20talk 19:29, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

Party colours

You're reverting the correct colours of parties. For starts, you don't know the colours of parties in other countries like Japan and South Korea, whereas I've been looking for the correct colours of parties. If you continue to revert edits regarding these countries, I will involve an admin. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:10, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

I will admit that I should've stated in my edits that I was correct colours, but you could've messaged me about that. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:14, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
In addition to the first revert, you came across a condescending by saying "Cheers" at the end of the first revert "Can you stop changing well-established colour for DECADES unilaterally and without any consensus? Cheers". ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:16, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Aswell, by using capital letters in such a manner comes across a childish. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:18, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Please state an article that has been affected by my edits that counters the colour that is already established on a page? Again, saying cheers at the end of your message is condescending. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:21, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
I will do in future for such parties as "People's Party (Spain)". However, the colours for parties in South Korea and Japan have been correct, and haven't affected maps nor graphs. If this is the case, how come an admin like Number 57 can change a colour without consensus? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:25, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Would you care to explain to me why this users edits weren't reverted then? [1]. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:37, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
No, I'm stating that other users edits haven't been reverted by other, along with mine until you did. I'm not looking at others to blame for my actions, but simply stating what I've seen from edits. For example, I had to revert the work someone did by adding the "party color" template to pages, when only "Siumut (2021)" needed adding to the module, creating less work than what had been carried out. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:50, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Okay, I will admit that I did go overboard with the re-colouring of parties of various countries. Quick question, which graphs do you prefer? Image or template? Same for parliament diagrams. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 22:02, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Oh forget it. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 22:10, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
I've made a post on Spain's People's Party talk page about creating a new colour for the party, as of 2022. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 11:31, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

CS vs. Cs

I see that "CS" is being used on pages since the new logo of the party, but other lang. Wikipedia still "Cs". Which is the correct one? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 15:42, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

@ValenciaThunderbolt: The party uses both interchangeably, though media sources are slowly resorting to CS. Impru20talk 21:57, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
I see :) When did they start referring to as "CS"? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 12:19, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
@ValenciaThunderbolt: From their 6th General Assembly in January. Impru20talk 15:42, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

Opinion polling for the 2023 Spanish local elections (Castile and León)

I would like to know the reason for the elimination of some contributions where the result of the general and regional elections in Valladolid was added. It is a model, that of writing the result of other elections in the poll tables, used in other Wikipedia articles. Alemartilamo (talk) 11:34, 20 March 2023 (UTC)

Easy: because these are tables for opinion polls, not for election results. Election results can come in handy for large tables with many opinion polls, but it's absurd to show 3 or 4 election results for tables with just one single opinion poll. As a result, only opinion polling tables for general and regional elections show results for other elections, not the case for local elections. Impru20talk 11:52, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
What about the actual electoral results? In the spanish local election polling data this information is not avaiable, but past results are (not just y CyL, in many other places). Is this information going to be added? Thanks. Endikasatu (talk) 07:21, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Branflakes

Do you think we have another Branflakes(?) sock on our hands? I have been rather suspicious since day one that this is not a new editor, particularly as they stalk my edits (I often see them making dummy edits to articles a couple of minutes after I've done something). Cheers, Number 57 17:23, 20 March 2023 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2015 Valencian regional election, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Enric Morera.

Political party module

Sorry, absolutely no idea what was happening there. I edited to the module twice to change one colour back, but both times it seemed to change multiple things. No idea what's going on... Number 57 16:46, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

@Number 57: Yeah, no worries, I figured it out later. I ended up reverting it anyway since I finally used "Agrarian Liberal Party" to refer to the Gassetist faction of the Spanish Restoration Liberal Party, so that went to the A Module instead. Impru20talk 16:48, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

Más País

Is it a party? The reason being is that is says it is both an alliance and a party on the page. Also, has Unidas Podemos merged into Sumar too? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 20:44, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

@ValenciaThunderbolt: Más País was an alliance, but it was also registered as an "instrumental" party back on its day to allow for the establishment of alliances with other parties (but by all intents and purposes, Más Madrid is the actual party). Sumar has followed the same scheme, but at a large scale. Unidas Podemos has effectively ceased to exist since the Cortes's dissolution and Podemos and IU joining Sumar. Hope this helps! Impru20talk 20:59, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
Thanks :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 21:01, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

Unidas Podemos

Did it dissolve yesterday? Looking from its Twitter account, you'd think it hasn't been around since the end of 2019. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 19:15, 10 June 2023 (UTC)

@ValenciaThunderbolt: Unidas Podemos doesn't have an official Twitter account as far as I'm aware (it had one for its Senate group, but such group doesn't exist since the April 2019 election since UP lost all of its elected senators). UP has remained in existence as an alliance in the Congress of Deputies until the dissolution of the chamber (30 May 2023). The exact date of dissolution of the alliance may be tricky, but we may considered it ended by that point since all of its member parties have joined Sumar. Impru20talk 19:23, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
@Impru20: So, this is likely not real then. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 19:26, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
@ValenciaThunderbolt: 71 followers... yeah, I'd say so. Impru20talk 19:28, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
@Impru20: Okay, just wanted to make sure. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 19:30, 10 June 2023 (UTC)

Elections to the Madrid regional election 2021

Hello, I have seen how much in the article how in the category of the elections to the Madrid assembly 2021 all the candidates and candidacies are still missing, you could still fill it in, thank you very much. @Impru20 Werkis (talk) 06:50, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

I do not understand what do you mean with "missing". They're there. Cheers! Impru20talk 07:32, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I mean all the candidacies and candidates, why don't they appear? Werkis (talk) 10:02, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
It could be put in an annex I imagined Werkis (talk) 10:02, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
Because not all of them are relevant enough to appear in the "parties and candidates" section. Only parties having previous parliamentary representation or predicted to have parliamentary representation in opinion polls are listed there. Impru20talk 10:15, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I was referring rather to the complete candidacies of both the parties with representation that are not represented either, or those that are not, why, for example, there are parties that do not have now but have had, that is what, also why it seems quite encyclopedic to me why they have been published in the official organizations of said country Werkis (talk) 11:00, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

Republican Left of Catalonia–Sovereigntists

Is this coalition defunct? As it seems ERC is contesting alone. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 13:02, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

Yep, it seems so. Definitely it doesn't seem to have been registered by 9 June. Impru20talk 13:08, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

Your Edit Summary addressed text in the Intro that I have now made more precise.

However, your edit also deleted material from Glide08 regarding floterial districts in other countries, and you did not mention this deletion in the Edit Summary. Did you intend to delete this? Spike-from-NH (talk) 20:04, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

Nope, that text was not intended to be deleted, so I have gone forth and restored it. Cheers! Impru20talk 20:08, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

I've add the new logo of Vox to its page. Is it that actual logo? and should the colour be forked for the old and the new one? Also, I've start a discussion on reducing the amount of ideologies in the infobox on the page. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 15:41, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

On 27 July 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2023 Spanish general election, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Schwede66 03:32, 27 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article 2019–2020 Spanish government formation you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. The article 2019–2020 Spanish government formation you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:2019–2020 Spanish government formation and Talk:2019–2020 Spanish government formation/GA1 for issues which need to be addressed. Spanish general election, 1893

Hey there! Just to let you know since I saw you're the person behind greatly improving the page for the 1893 Spanish general election and other pages from the Restauración period, I have uploaded a map with the results from the election to the lower chamber that year, and I'm going to try to do the same for the other elections of the period.

However, I realised that the number of elected deputies per party doesn't quite match - I think that could be down to the different party affiliation guesses made by newspapers from the period and some election results changing last minute. Until after the 1907 electoral law, there was no formal declaration of party affiliation by MP so it's all a bit of guesswork I'm afraid. Nanwe01 (talk) 14:33, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Assessing articles

When you update the assessment of an article (e.g. [2]) please could you change the rating in the banner shell template? Then the others can be removed as redundant. Thanks — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:27, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

Oh, yes. It looks like that was a result of using the Rater script, which did not change the rating in the banner shell template. Thanks! Impru20talk 11:44, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
I believe rater has been updated. Perhaps you could try it again sometime and let me know if it works? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:08, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
