your edits to Columbine
[edit]The Columbine disambiguation page already had mention of Ike's presidential aircraft. --rogerd (talk) 15:26, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
unsourced trivia on disambiguation pages
[edit]The primary purpose of disambiguation pages is to allow users to choose among several Wikipedia articles, usually when a user searches for an ambiguous term. They are not collections of trivia or lists of terms that are not likely to be confused with the title being disambiguated. Please see Wikipedia:Disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages) for more information about disambiguation pages. older ≠ wiser 18:20, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 00:19, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi JSweit8573,
Your edit (21:59, 28 April 2011) to the P. F. Chang's China Bistro page HERE, unfortunately left it in a pretty poor state. ie, "Reference" and "External links" sections missing. :-( Fixed now :-)
You pasted into the middle of the </gallery> tag, and the image you were trying to add File:Pfchangs.jpg apparently does not exist.
I strongly suggest use of the "Show preview" button before saving. Regards, 220.101 talk\Contribs 00:19, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, William Windom (actor), but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, -- MST☆R (Chat Me!) 14:51, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
