Free flash photography
[edit]Thanks for adding the article: I assume you're talking about the technique where the effective moment of exposure is determined by triggering the flash on a long exposure; if so you might want to make it more clear, and a source would help. Unfortunately, "free flash" as a search term brings up 100000000 hits on Adobe Flash games, so if you have a printed ref, please use it. Acroterion (talk) 15:45, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Hello, I am new user, Can you help me to correction this problem. Thanks.Jacopo188 (talk) 16:02, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Jacopo188,
I believe the article title is a neologism, which is disallowed per WP:NOTNEO policy. I've placed the article for discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Free flash photography. Don't panic. This will allow experienced editors to review whether this subject is appropriate for Wikipedia and if necessary to move the information to another article name or within another article. It would be good if you can find reliable sources that use exactly this term for this technique. If you don't know how to format a citation, don't worry. Just give a web link or if it is a book then the name/author/publisher/ISBN and page number(s). Colin°Talk 21:22, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi, The other name of this technique is open Flash. I use From one Persian book for this article: فرهنگ عکّاسی، اسماعیل عباسی، انتشارات سروش، چاپ چهارم، ۱۳۸۵.
↑ (Dictionary of photography, Abbasi-Esmail, Sorosh pubication, 4th print, 2006.
And one Translation of Germany: Night photography, Geoeg Bilitz. Jacopo188 (talk) 07:11, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've updated the AfD with the alternative name. I'll do some research on it and expand the article. Colin°Talk 09:06, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited View camera, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Toyo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- Thanks for your answer.
I highlight the Toyo name on View camera article last day. But Toyo don't have an article like Sinar?! In wikifa every article must have some reference, and I don't have any refrence for made this article! Can you made this article? I will translate that to farsi. Many thanks.Jacopo188 (talk) 16:03, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
- It's very difficult to make sense of. I'm not sure if Toyo-View is its own company, a branch of Mamiya, or a reincarnation of Omega (camera). Or all of the above. I'm going to have to leave it for now. --JaGatalk 14:25, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
The article Aalaeddin Melmasi has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The article Aalaeddin Melmasi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No indication of notability. Appears to fail WP:N
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. HighKing (talk) 16:19, 20 February 2012 (UTC)

Laurentius Ventura moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Laurentius Ventura, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 15:22, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
