Vector spaces
Hi, I am new the the peer revision process on Wikipedia. What would be the most appropriate way (or place) for me to leave comments? I haven't gotten very far into the article, but I can see a few places for improvement.
Thanks Thenub314 (talk) 12:40, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for reviewing the article. The usual location would be Wikipedia:Peer_review/Vector_space/archive1. There is no "appropriate" way, just tell what you think. There are plenty of further Peer Reviews at WP:PR. Jakob.scholbach (talk) 12:59, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
I replied
...on my talk page (note that you also undid some of my linking and adding of material so in effect you also removed a bit; I don't mean to sound rude but could you please have a look at the diff (of your rv) and check what other parts you have reverted?). PST --Point-set topologist (talk) 21:54, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- We can discuss this in the morning (it is almost midnight in my time zone). Good night! --Point-set topologist (talk) 22:42, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- Give me some time and I will fix up the lede. After that you can review it and if you still feel that the old lede was better you can revert it. How does that sound? --Point-set topologist (talk) 11:13, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Principal contributors?
I'm not sure I would call myself a principal contributor to vector spaces. I made a bunch of edits, but they were for the most part minor copyedits. The article looked very good before I even touched it. ;-) siℓℓy rabbit (talk) 20:07, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Not only before you touched it :) ... I thought it just sounds a bit obnoxious to say "I wrote the article alone", and edit counters are an unbiasable, if occasionally stupid, measure of contributions... Jakob.scholbach (talk) 20:40, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Adminship?
I would like you to consider applying for adminship. If you feel that you could use the tools, then you would have my unequivocal strong support. siℓℓy rabbit (talk) 01:53, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you a lot for your confidence. I think I will apply, since I occasionally meet vandalism. However, I'd like to settle the vector space FAC, and read a bit more about admin responsibilities etc. before going into the RfA. I'll ping you when I'm ready. Would you propose me then? Jakob.scholbach (talk) 16:14, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- I too would be very happy to offer you adminship. You are an excellent contributor to Wikipedia: it would be a great loss to not have you here. Please feel free to notify me when you apply for adminship. --PST 17:35, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
My comment at Talk:Vector space
Hi Jakob, good work at Vector space. I'd appreciate it if you could respond, when you get a chance, to my comment here. Thanks. Paul August ☎ 15:49, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
