Cheat site

[edit]

Hello there.

The reason I removed the link was because, like I said in the edit summary, Wikipedia is not a game guide. (See WP:NOT). Putting things video game articles such as cheats, strategies, ect. are not needed in the articles. Thats what we GameFAQS [1] for. All that should be in the article is notable information, like, in Resident Evil 4's case, ports to different systems, the two unreleased development versions, and regional differences (if notable).

That said, I'll repeat this one more: Wikipedia is not a guide for games. If people want to find Cheats for the game they can do so elsewhere.

I apologize if this is hard to understand. I'm not good at explaining things. DengardeComplaints 00:02, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External links? Well, Yes. It's meant to link to off site pages, but it's usually used for things like the official site of said game/movie/whatever. Cheat sites, fansites, stuff like that shouldn't go in external links, It's usually only stuff thats connected to the game in an official matter (I.E. Established by Capcom).
