License tagging for Image:NJTcabcar.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NJTcabcar.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:08, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Userbox/Babel formatting

[edit]

Hello, I'm a newbie here at wikipedia. I am trying to setup my userpage by adding my babel and userboxes on the right side of my page. However, when I put in the coding for both my Babel and userbox, they appear side by side and I am not sure how to format the code to make the boxes one on top of the other. Any help is appreciated!! I have formatted them for you. By the way, they look best in Mozilla Firefox (which you may be using). If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask them at the help desk! Happy editing! S.D. ¿п? § 13:07, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to WikiProject Trains

[edit]

Hello and welcome to the Trains WikiProject! Thank you for adding your name to our project membership list. Our goal is to build the most comprehensive and detailed guide to rail transport on Wikipedia. As a project member, you may add the project membership userbox to your user page if you wish.

If you haven't done so already, please add our main project page to your watchlist and take some time to review the Trains project manual of style where we have collected guidelines and suggestions on notability and style for a consistent representation of rail transport related material. If you're curious about where to start, we've gathered a few suggestions in the Trains project to do list. If you'd like to specialize in a particular area of study within rail transport, take a look at the current Trains project task forces.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the project talk page or on my talk page. Again, welcome and happy editing! Slambo (Speak) 11:29, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao!

Hey Jim, I just randomly came across you by noticing that the NJT Rail Operations page finally had a link to the APL-46, an article that didn't exist before. Good to see you on here! One thing tho: it'd be cool if you uploaded your images to the Wikimedia Commons instead of just the english wiki; it allows other wikipedias (such as the Russian one ;)) to use the same image without having to reupload it.

Cheers! —lensovettalk03:51, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
