I have already asked them to someone else before but I didnt get any answers yet. 1- I am writing about my institution: have I done this correctly by putting it as an article or was there another place to post that? 2- The information that I have put was created by several teams in the institution. i and so how can i cite a third party in this case? thank you in advance :)

[edit]1. There is no other place on Wikipedia other than articles. There are other sites such as Facebook where you might post. You might find a suitable place at List of wikis or Wikipedia:Alternative outlets.
2. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If it is to have an article on your school at all (see the next paragraph), the article will report only how third parties see the school. There probably is no place for any of the information created by your teams. All but the first paragraph of your draft is promotional: there certainly is no place here for that kind of content.
Here are the basic rules: In order to be eligible for an article on Wikipedia, a subject must be notable. By definition this means it must have received significant coverage from independent reliable sources. All information in an article must be verifiable by references to reliable sources, and the reliable sources used to verify the subject's notability must also be independent of the subject. All articles must be written from a neutral point of view; promotional (or other unencyclopedic) content is not acceptable.
Because you work for the school, you have a conflict of interest that would make it difficult if not impossible to write with the required neutrality. —teb728 t c 11:45, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- I just noticed that you posted somewhere, "I would also like to make sure that no one may modify the contents of the article without my permission." That is not how things work on Wikipedia; all articles are open to editing by anyone. Every time you edit there is a notice directly below the "Save page" button that says as much: "If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here." —teb728 t c 21:31, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
