Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Jocelynortiz1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Response
[edit]Hi! You posed this on the talk page of Elysia (Wiki Ed):
- I need help with understanding my sandbox. And I'm also confused on how to edit an article without actually publishing to the main article.
With editing in general, this may be helpful. It's a series of videos on editing with VisualEditor.
Also, a good way to edit your chosen article without editing the live article would be to copy it (or the portion plan on working on) into your sandbox. From there you can edit the draft - none of the edits will show up live until they are moved live. Does this answer your question? If not, leave a message for me on my talk page.
