Regarding edits to Christ Gospel Churches International
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Johnnyroll! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bfreewebs\.com\/.+, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 13:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and will be removed. Thanks. Shadowbot 13:31, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Christ Gospel Churches International. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Life, Liberty, Property 20:29, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

I realise, no recent warnings. But after 2 years of doing only one thing, and seeing that that got reverted over and over, and you were already informed about these things in 2007, and no single attempt at discussing:
You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may place {{unblock}} on your user talk page to have the block reviewed. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:11, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- my site has no advertisement or spam or any such / previous web link 2 years ago did have spam but i was unaware of this due to very little know-how with this. the web link iam trying to add, romansletter.org, i believe and am sure has no spam / please review again— Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnyroll (talk • contribs)
- The problem is not advertisement or spam, we are not a linkfarm, and we should adhere to a neutral point of view. Moreover, you have a conflict of interest. The site was removed over and over and over over the last 2 years, that might have given the idea that the site is not suitable? --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:51, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
i actually thought someone from the church was removing it / thanks— Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnyroll (talk • contribs)
- Hmm. I'll unblock you, but I strongly suggest you to read through the above policies and guidelines, and to engage in discussion. Even if it were mainly someone from the church, that is not a reason to keep adding it. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:32, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
