Thanks

[edit]

Thank you User:Jonpro for the suggestions and the support that you gave ME when i first started to edit in Wikipedia (you were the first person that acually noticed that i was trying to rename some pages). I apologize for the mess and i will make good use of your advice (i am currently working on the WikiProject Television episodes format startind from the Batman episodes as you first suggested). I want to make clear, that my comments on the talk page on some of these episodes was to encourage people to add to the pages but not erase the edits that i already had made, (although it's a patchwork but i wiil try to complete them). As for the "Show Preview" button i was using it from the start but sometimes i forget it (i apologize for that too). From now on i will follow your advice more stricktly and i wil try my best. If you want to comment me about something else please do so because i am, more or less, a beginner in the editing part of Wikipedia and propably i will need help some times. Thanks again for your encouragement and i know now that i can always count on your help. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MasterDeva (talkcontribs) 22:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Howdy!

[edit]

I didn't know you had an account here! --JayHenry 15:32, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My interest for a large project vs. a small project waxes and wanes. Right now I'm enjoying the big project, but I'll probably get more active at the LGPedia before too long. I've been trying to find a good WikiProject to join, I think it sorta combines the best of both worlds, but I haven't yet found one I like and that's particularly active. Hm... WikiProject Go... not my area of expertise I'm afraid. --JayHenry 23:22, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I notice that one of the wikis you're involved with doesn't seem to be mentioned on your user page. It's like you're ashamed of us, lol. --JayHenry 06:01, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I actually have your user page (and OIC's and Brucker's, although they never edit, sadly. Also User:SilverBulletx3 and User:Chelseyrl are here too. I can't believe Silver is 11, I've been meaning to say hello to them, in fact.) on my watchlist, so it's fine to respond here too. Come to think of it, I don't mention the LGPedia on my user page, and I think it is because I'm ashamed. --JayHenry 06:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, you boys very very funny... --BBrucker2 22:53, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, good to hear from you. I don't have a LG15 userbox because when I was building my page, they didn't exist yet, and I hadn't gotten around to making one myself. Since I changed jobs, I don't have access to a computer that allows streaming video, so I'm two months behind the plot and haven't spent much time on LGPedia anymore. As for Go, I actually have never played online, and to tell the truth, now that I think of it, it's been nearly ten years since I played a game at all. I've never been oficially ranked, but I know I got my assed kicked by a guy ranked 8Kyu (whom I had taught to play originally, ironically). It's a fun game, but I don't know anyone who plays, and I've never been very good at it. My Go set just sits in my closet gathering dust... --BBrucker2 16:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you much.

Generally I do anti-vandalism on French-speaking WP. Now, I think that en: is missing some patrollers. You also do good job!  Pabix 05:50, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi!

I saw you patrolling. If you're using Firefox, Epiphany or Seamonkey, I suggest you try LiveRC which is an AJAX tool dedicated to patrolling, which was developed by a sysop on fr:. If you would like to test it, you can Follow those instructions. Then, for tips:

Hope you like it. Yours,  Pabix 06:28, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please warn vandals after reverting their edits on Age of Empires. using TW

[edit]

May 2007

[edit]

Hello. I'm in agreement with the recent revert you made to Age of Empires. You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. G1ggy! 01:56, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting vandalism

[edit]

Hey! Just wanted to drop by and give you an enthusiastic thumbs up for your work on reverting vandals. However, please avoid making comments like this when warning individuals. There are multiple reasons for this; conveying anger or frustration usually just gives people fuel to keep going. However, more importantly, IP addresses are often shared, and may even be dynamic. Leaving a personalized warning on an IP's talk page is unlikely to reach the intended recipient. Anyway, I just thought you should know. But great job fighting vandals! Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 06:55, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's ok. After fighting vandals for about two years now I've learned to keep frustration at bay, but I still find myself wondering from time to time what these people do for a living, exactly. Anyway, keep it up! Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 07:03, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Might I add, this guy already has a history of making a personalized warning and conveying anger and frustration...He caused a HUGE war on LGpedia as a result, and refuses to end it...Jonpro, you should listen to Master of Puppets, he gives good advice and information.--xwestsidex —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.155.148.225 (talk) 09:27, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Betty Young requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ridernyc (talk) 18:53, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Betty Young, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Betty Young. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ViridaeTalk 07:49, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
