Lol, thanks for that. I hate it when they all pop on from the same range. :P --slakrtalk / 21:34, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OMG, lol, I totally read that wrong— I think I switched the edit summaries when I got over to yours and saw mine (and vice versa), but yeah, that's hilarious! At least we eventually got it :P Cheers =) --slakrtalk / 21:39, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen finneys

[edit]

You deleted the Stephen finneys article per speedy policy. I had run across it in a google AWB search. In any event, the user User:Mouseclick137 have recreated it twice (I think my AWB prog did it once and I self-speedied it). In any case, the user is maintaining a copy on his userpage as a personal site. Should the userpage go to MfD? and can the article and its likely variants be protected against creation? I'll watch here. Mbisanz (talk) 02:35, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It also appears that User talk:Hiimkylestevens is maintaing a copy of the page on his userpage. Mbisanz (talk) 02:36, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Mbisanz, thanks for contacting me.
I don't see a problem with Mouseclick hosting the page there, it is suitable by the userpage policy and he is the original author of the page. He never should have created it in the article namespace, but it seems the lesson was learned. I'll leave it be. As for Hiimkylestevens, I'll delete it from there and notify the user. Thanks! Thank you, thats why I asked before acting. Mbisanz (talk) 02:41, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE Nomination

[edit]

Thanks for the nomination. Unfortunately I can't accept just yet - I'm going on OTC training camp and won't be back till Monday. However, I'll accept the nomination and answer the questions then. WaltonOne 10:36, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE Desertec

[edit]

No problem. Actually I have myself some doubts if it is better to have a separate article about Desertec or to merge this information into Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy Cooperation because these are very interrelated things. I will look if I will find information supporting separate article, otherwise I will propose to merge these articles. Beagel (talk) 09:25, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Drill Down

[edit]

You recently deleted the entrey The Drill Down. Since I am reletivly knew to this game can you give an exact reason why and tell me what I need to include to bring this page back? Regards MikeonTV (talk) 14:53, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have also tried to add this podcast to Wikipedia. I do no understand how we should prove that this podcast is important. Please let us know. user: ebashatly

Arsonists Get All The Girls deletion

[edit]

Why would you do this? The band has released 2 full-length albums (that was produced by Zach Ohren), toured with notables such as Job For a Cowboy and Veils of Maya and participated in DeathFest 2007. If you go ahead and check out their MySpace page, you would see that they're anything but "non-notable". I also think Arsonists Get All the Girls should be undeleted. They meet music notability requirements by having 2 full length albums on a recognizable independant lable, Century Media. Web250 (talk) 22:49, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Drill Down

[edit]

Thanks for your reply regarding The Drill Down. I have given up on creating the entry at this time. Take care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MikeonTV (talkcontribs) 15:09, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has asked for a deletion review of The Linux Action Show!. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. ǝɹʎℲxoɯ (contrib) 05:50, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, all those tabs blur together sometimes :-) Thanks for the quick restore, and I'll get on those refs. ǝɹʎℲxoɯ (contrib) 06:25, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Having no answer, I'm asking again for a copyright investigation of Stanislav Petrov. If you disagree as an editor, just answer my question. If you were certifying that the article does not infringe copyright, or were acting with your admin hat on, simply state that.--Chealer (talk) 08:22, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Walton

[edit]

I have fixed the link in Walton's RFA nomination, since the relevant discussion had been moved to an archive page. I hope that's okay with you. >Radiant< 11:26, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there!

Since when were you a sysop? I fear for my life. :) Just kidding. How's Wikilife? Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:02, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, the drama continues... I was wondering, what happened with the Essjay thing? And something about Durova... Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:17, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sigh, if only controversy didn't make the face of the encyclopedia. There are so many good people here and most never even get recognition. Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:28, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hopes Die Last

[edit]

Oh ok, I'll just place a prod, with a notability tag. Thanks for the notification. Cheers.--Manderson198 (sprech) 07:06, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I didn't have time before, but I want to thank you for the RfA nomination. I realise that my behaviour over the Melsaran affair caused concern to a lot of people, and I am glad that you, as well as a majority (77%) of participants in the RfA, nonetheless had enough confidence in me to support my continuing service as an administrator. In future debates about Wikipedia policy I will try not to be so combative as I was in the Melsaran affair, and to avoid jumping to conclusions. WaltonOne 16:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An Administrator is I!

Adventurer! The Council has identified a number of strange occurrences (such as "vandals" and "articles for deletion") in the surrounding wilderness. The Council would check it out, but they have important Councily-type things. But never fear: brave adventurers known as "sysops" roam the lands!

Thank you for your support in my quest to become a sysop. Although I am now wielding the keys to my very own Bitchin' Meatcar, I promise to uphold the laws of the land, martini in hand, in a way that would make Saint Sneaky Pete proud. I will do my best to be a Jack of Several Trades (although I may be a Master of Nuns). I promise to Heart Canadia. And I will make it my goal to Make War, Not ... er, Wait, Never Mind.

I am glad to serve my guild, the League of Wikipedians. If I can be of any assistance, or you have any questions, suggestions, or criticisms in the future, please let me know. And if you are at a loss for what any of the above actually means, see this website.

Thanks again.
