Welcome!
Hello, Kyoho, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, you can post to the help desk or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
Since I don't patrol recent changes, and I'm not a member of the Welcoming committee, I don't usually get the opportunity of welcoming new editors to the Wikipedia. If you have an comments or questions, please leave a message on my Talk page. If you are interested in topics on Japan, you may be interested in the Japanese Wikipedians' notice board. I'm mostly interested in Japanese poetry and I did about fair number of the edits on the kigo article. BlankVerse ∅ 13:03, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice! I wonder if it's better now? Kyoho (talk) 01:32, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Cheryl

- Hello, I've expanded the lead a bit further. Please feel free to tinker with it if you wish! I might have been close to accepting it in its earlier form but the previous reviewer is very experienced and I would trust their judgement on the issue. A lead should briefly summarise the major points of the article and more detail and references contained within the 'body'. Cheers. Eagleash (talk) 21:01, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- Also, it would be beneficial if the page contained the date of death, which should be the opening statement in the lead (after the Japanese translation in the form {1900–XXXX) (with an endash) with the place of birth shown separately. Eagleash (talk) 21:07, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
