Denied unblock requests

Your editing privileges have been suspended indefinitely

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
There is no time limit on when you may feel inclined to stop making personal attacks on other editors, so your only recourse is to convince another admin that you will not do so in future. At that time you may be unblocked. LessHeard vanU (talk) 14:50, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

OK, it's been over a month now and I feel it time for me to make amends. I'll refrain from all personal attacks from now on, so if you'll care to review this block I'd be grateful. You can of course monitor my future behaviour. My intention is just to edit articles and comment on their content, and not in any way on the editor. LemonMonday Talk 21:41, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Yes, you have said the same before, and look where it has gotten the project. I suggest that perhaps the standard offer, which includes a minimum of 6 months without editing Wikipedia (even anonymously) (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:30, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I didn't know about the standard offer, but surely that is for the hardest cases to deal with? I admit my incivility but in the overall scheme of things it was nowhere near other cases. I've given an undertaking to desist immediately and ONLY comment on articles and content. You can block me permanently if I waver again. Furthermore, I'm happy to be placed on civility parole. Given these undertakings I can't see what purpose a further five months block will serve, other than as punishment, and as I read it these blocks are not for punitive reasons. Note that I have never been on civility parole, so maybe that should have been tried prior to an indef, or at least now in any event. I could see the need for longer blocks if I'd been in breach of civility parole, but such is not the case.

Decline reason:

"Surely that is only for the hardest cases to deal with" Yep. Like a user who has been repeatedly blocked for the same thing, promises to never do it again, and then proceeds to do it again and get blocked again. That would be you. WP:OFFER has been extended, I suggest you take it. Maybe try editing at another project such as simple and see if you can manage to be civil enough not to get blocked over there.
