Orphaned non-free image File:SEAT logo 1982-1999.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:SEAT logo 1982-1999.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 04:10, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Automotive templates
[edit]Hi. I 've seen the way you 've edited several automotive timeline template categories. In the VW group templates it seems you left untouched the templates Template:Škoda timeline 1945-1990 and Template:Škoda timeline 1990 to date, but you edited other VW group brands timeline templates. Why is that? I mean since Škoda is a VW group brand, its templates are already included under the VW group timeline template subcategory, so what is the reason those two Škoda templates should be included for a second time also in the 'Automotive company timeline templates' general category?(LeonCR (talk) 08:43, 12 July 2011 (UTC))
- The Skoda templates should have been edited in the same manner; I simply overlooked them. Feel free to remove the Automotive company timeline template category if I don't do so first. --Vossanova o< 17:53, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 4
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited SEAT, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Saloon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ortiz Echagüe
[edit]Hi LeonCR, while it's nice that you have created an english article about Ortiz Echagüe, you should have mentioned your sources, as we have done on :de Wikipedia for the parts we had taken from es:José Ortiz-Echagüe. For example, this section is clearly coming from the article on :de[1]. --Túrelio (talk) 15:34, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know, as I didn't have any intention to take the credits from anybody else; I sincerely have no personal arguments when I am writing in WP. This is why I don't even mind when I am not mentioned (thus not taking the credit for myself) when other people in WP have used my own research and contributions as their sources. I have always thought of WP as a selfless project and in that sense I really didn't know neither I had to give the merit to other contributors nor how to do so, but I accept I wasn't aware of my obligation. I won't deny I have translated the spanish and the german version of the article, it isn't a shame, I have combined both sources and I have merged both articles into one new english article (doing this from scratch since there was no english article at all). The result is the english version which is now more complete than any other language version alone. My only concern has been accuracy and I confess I have shown good faith to the contributions made from users in the spanish and the german article. Now that I have completed my work creating this new english article from scratch and enriching its context by gathering information from other WP language versions of it, I find that the outcome this way can be only positive. However I shall keep in mind in the future your reminding, thank you for helping me and sorry for any inconvenience. (LeonCR (talk) 17:21, 3 January 2013 (UTC))

Speedy deletion nomination of Küppersbusch
[edit]Hello LeonCR,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Küppersbusch for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 18:09, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
