James Maitland, 7th Earl of Lauderdale (Reynolds painting), which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited John Ruskin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phaidon. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Langham la notable ppl

[edit]

Please do not revert my edit. It is not vandalism and familarize yourself with Wiki policy for notable ppl to be included in notable section. No Wiki BLP article means not notable and cannot be included in notable section.2600:1700:7610:41E0:1DCE:99A7:5A5A:CE2F (talk) 11:32, 24 September 2021 (UTC) The policy is very straightforward and reasonable. Otherwise, nearly anyone may be considered notable and would surely result in very extensive list which would distract from authentic notable people. You are welcome to submit any BLP article if you are able. Have a great day. 2600:1700:7610:41E0:1DCE:99A7:5A5A:CE2F (talk) 11:45, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know you but you seem nice. I love Wikipedia and want to get involved. Can you help? Haleymiranda1979 (talk) 05:35, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Welcome to Wikipedia then! I love it too.
I'm relatively new here as well, but happy to help. The simplest way to help Wikipedia is to edit it to make it better. Find an article that you're interested in and you think you can improve, then click the 'edit' tab at the top of the page and you're off. On Wikipedia, there are certain rules and guidelines to follow. These are summed up in Wikipedia's Five Pillars.

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rockdale Opera Company moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Rockdale Opera Company, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
