YLM/Quiet Now

Lana's EP was leaked as Young Like Me, on the first day, I saw it because I was online when it leaked, later, for some reason, YLM was being called Quiet Now, but the real title is registed on the U.S. Copyright Catalog Record as Young Like Me, and its alternate title Rock Me Stable (proved by my link) 177.180.20.75 (talk) 19:12, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

By the way, you removed lots of songs on Lana's article, even if they're unsourced, they already leaked and are on internet, if you're going to edit please don't remove content that is actually real177.180.20.75 (talk) 00:46, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

This is gunna bug me: what the heck is the difference between these two names? [1]xenotalk 22:29, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

One is cursive, the other isn't. I can't see it in the URL though so...I'm not sure. Littlecarmen (talk) 22:37, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
Ok, I moved it back. I don't think cursive letters are supposed to be in the page title proper but displayed as such instead. –xenotalk 14:30, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

I only realised my error after I typed the edit summary - the song does not meet WP:MUSICBIO It does, however, meet WP:NSONGS criterion #1 and WP:GNG. If you want it deleted, please use AfD.--Launchballer 12:34, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

Born To Die album sales

Hi Littlecarmen it's Fredocarter96. Sorry, I undid your modification about Lana's sales. Just to explain my point, let's talk about the most reliable source out there : ifpi sales. Lana's sales in 2012 are 3.4M according to the ifpi 2013 report (IFPI 2013 - p11). In 2013, the sales are inevitably less than 2.3M according to ifpi 2014 report (IPFI 2014 - p12). Which means, she has sold at best 5.6 million albums. Far from 7 million. Fredocarter96 (talk) 22:51, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Well, okay then. I only updated the sales because I saw it mentioned in that article which featured an interview with Del Rey, so I assumed the number was correct. The magazine really is a reliable source though. And a website that documents leaks (and blatantly copied their information from Del Rey's biographical Wikipedia article), and two random other websites don't constitute reliable sources. The original source should be the only one listed. I have also found you a bit hostile in your edits, I had no bad intentions, I was merely updating a number that I assumed was outdated. Littlecarmen (talk) 23:13, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
No problem. I saw you were sincere, that's why I chose to put a message in your page. It was not my intention to feel hostile, sorry for that. Fredocarter96 (talk) 23:22, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Lana Del Rey discography shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. — Status (talk · contribs) 23:53, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Hey! I'm kinda new to Wikipedia and I changed some content on Born to Die because Off to the Races and Carmen were released as promotional singles and not singles; for Paradise, Blue Velvet and Burning Desire are the same; and for Ultraviolence, it is also the same for Shades of Cool, Ultraviolence and Brooklyn Baby. Thank you!

I'm 100% certain that they are promotional singles.

Hi there, if you have a second, would you mind leaving some thoughts at this discussion regarding the title of this album? Thanks, WikiRedactor (talk) 22:25, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dark Paradise, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Keyboard (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Just to let you know that Ultraviolence (the song) has been announced by Lana herself as the second single from Ultraviolence. Google it for yourself. Also, Shades of Cool and Brooklyn Baby are just promotional singles and not singles themselves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kieranmcdermott1 (talkcontribs) 14:42, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Born to Die

Re "Usage in media" I would have thought the link to the video was proof enough. I enhanced the value of an article and a wikinazien took it out. So typical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.12.4 (talk) 20:24, 9 September 2014 (UTC)

I once spent 3 hours working on an article, only to have it deleted for a reason that was not the case. It was restored. But when you go to the trouble of finding somthing, writing it up, and someone simply deletes it. It is really annoying. And not really in the spirit of the original wiki which was the "Edited by all" approach.

I do not think a better source than the you tube clip exists, it was a one off promo. But I linked to the Shortland Street page and the clip.

If you want to avoid insults, make edits and sugestions, not deletes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.12.4 (talk) 02:35, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

I tried to add value, you deleted it, not helpful, you are a wikinazien, wikipedians help and encourage, you have failed to do that. I really don't care enough, I was trying to be helpful, if you don't want to be, that is up to you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.12.4 (talk) 22:11, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Ok, I found a ref. Please though, be a cool person, and help, not delete, cause it really annoys people and will put people off, and weaken what makes wikipedia so good. Yes, I choose to insult, it gets people to think about their actions. Have a nice day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.12.4 (talk) 00:11, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

I will add the you tube as a ref. Please it's simple, you should have added, "Citition Needed" not delete, I will insult deleters, because it discourages contirbuters and that should be avoided. Rules Suck. Please, encourage, not discourage, I did a lot on wikipedia at the start, have contiributed to a lot of ariticles, but stopped once it got all rules stupid. This was interesting, so I added it, thought "Hey, if I got it wrong, a nice editor will fix it" I did not expect a delete. I know I am not the first or last to complain about deleters vs editors. And as for rules, their there to be broken :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.12.4 (talk) 20:58, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

Another user needs to change country pop as a genre as seen on talk page, here's sources:

Should be change as "a country pop song with pop rock and country arrangements" with each sources on section. 183.171.166.176 (talk) 03:16, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

Oh yeah, by the way, should add "noted that the song was difference with propulsive, anthemic dance music" with American Songwriter source, but don't add dance music as a genre, just attempt. 183.171.166.176 (talk) 03:23, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

Honeymoon tracks

Tracks on an album aren't confirmed until a tracklist is confirmed. Del Rey has only said that she "has a song" or "hopes to cover" a certain song. Until a track is released as a single, or a tracklist is confirmed, we have no way of knowing for sure if Del Rey will be including the song on a album. An interview months in advance where she mentions a song or talks about wanting to cover it does not guarantee or confirm its place on an album.

You said: "All of these tracks have been confirmed by Del Rey. Calling the section "possible tracks" implies that these are rumours, which they aren't and for some reason all of the categories were removed?"

Calling the section "Possible Tracks" does not mean that it is just rumours. It means that the tracks have been mentioned but not have been released nor included in an actual tracklist.

theeternalstars (talk) 12:43, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

@Badpiggy: It is common to have a "confirmed tracks" section in an article of an upcoming album. Del Rey has confirmed these tracks for the album and I don't think we need an official tracklisting to say that these songs have been confirmed for the album for now. If something changes, we can always make changes to the article, but for now, these tracks have been confirmed for Honeymoon by Del Rey herself. Littlecarmen (talk) 12:47, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

This sounds reasonable. I appreciate your work on the articles. What do you think about protecting the page so overzealous fans do not add rumours and use the article as a speculation page? theeternalstars (talk) 22:44, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

@Badpiggy: Thank you, I appreciate your work and willingness to discuss this with me as well. That's a good idea. I think the page was protected before and most other articles having to do with Lana Del Rey have been protected or still are, unfortunately. Littlecarmen (talk) 08:41, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, this I know, I've read the process. For consensus to be shown to exist it looks better if you support the nomination, otherwise explain where you have any further objections. The feature list directors are more likely to be convinced that such consensus does exist if the support by all reviewers is unequivocal.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 13:59, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
