User talk:Liuben
I am creating a page which somebody all the time is trying to delete, nobody knows why! I am not repeating the page, not copying the page or some other material, so you would be better of, when you first try to communicate to the people and understand what their goals are and then to try to play crazy internet police officer.
Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Stefan Dimitrov. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://stefan-dimitrov.tripod.com/bio.html in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Stefan Dimitrov with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Stefan Dimitrov with a link to the details.
Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Stefan Dimitrov saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.
It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you want to edit constructively, take a look at the welcome page. Thank you. --Finngall talk 21:41, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- On the talk page of the article, you said, "I am the owner of that photo." Owning the photo does not mean that you own the copyright (unless you took the photo), and you do not address the problem of the copied article itself. See the note above for details on how to assert that you own the copyright and are willing to license the text and photo under the GFDL. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:52, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:FisherQueen. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:59, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Vandalism is what YOU DID at the page of my father - all informations were detailed and true and the photo used was my own. So, don't try to decide all over what is correct and what - not.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Liuben (talk • contribs)
- No. Vandalism is blanking another user's talk page. Deleting an article which is copied from another web site, and for which there is not solid proof that Wikipedia has a legal right to use that material under the GFDL is just my job. Follow the instructions above and demonstrate the you own the copyright- on the article's text as well as the picture- and you won't have any problems. But please, don't vandalise my user page just because you don't like the copyright laws. Wikipedia would be breaking the law if we allowed people to add material that is copyrighted. -FisherQueen (Talk) 22:13, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of List of opera accompanists

Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TN‑X-Man 20:17, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
CSD tagging
[edit]Hi. Just a small note about removing speedy deletion tags from articles. I know you may feel that your article is being attacked, but please do not remove the notice, as that only gives users more cause to revert you and possibly ask for us to disable your editing privileges. Speedy deletion tags do not mean that an article has to be deleted; as you can see in this case, your article was approved by an administrator. Adding a {{hangon}} notice is enough for the future. If you've got any questions you're welcome to ask on my talk page. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 21:37, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Genova & Dimitrov
[edit]A tag has been placed on Genova & Dimitrov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}

Warning
[edit]If you post the Genova & Dimitrov page again, in spite of numerous warnings, I will block you. We do not accept copyright infringements here; we do not take the copyright infringement policy lightly; and therefore you MAY NOT copy and paste the content of other websites, even if you own them, unless they specifically state on the websites themselves that all contents are licensed to the GFDL or to public domain. This is an encyclopedia and not a free site for promotion. Thank you, Antandrus (talk) 15:26, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]I've blocked you for repeated reposting a copyright-infringing text. If you wish to be unblocked, you need to follow the instructions on the block page, and promise to stop posting promotional material, as well as stop copying and pasting from elsewhere on the web. "It isn't copyright" doesn't work as an excuse: we are an encyclopedia and you have to write content in your own words -- not take them from somewhere else.
