Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, CMD (talk) 15:59, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming your account

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you moved your user page, and its associated talk page, to a new name. This does not rename your account, and as such I have undone your move. Please take a look at WP:RENAME if you wish to request your account be renamed. Thanks, WindTempos (talkcontribs) 17:07, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Suppressed edits

[edit]
Hi, Locked Empire, I have unfortunately had to suppress some of your edits because they reveal too much personally identifiable information about you. We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. For some useful information on privacy and safety, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and Wikipedia:On privacy, confidentiality and discretion. Thanks, and sorry for messing about with your pages! PhilKnight (talk) 05:13, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

October 2022

Information icon Hello, I'm Mutt Lunker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Scotland, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mutt Lunker (talk) 21:48, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Scotland. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mutt Lunker (talk) 20:17, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Rhode Island

[edit]

I don't know why you were making up numbers for Rhode Island's area, but Rhode Island's own website shows that your edits were wrong. Edits like the ones you made are disruptive and could get you blocked. Please do better. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 20:02, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

oh. But i was trying to prove it was a little "bigger" than that. And sorry for messing up Delaware. There is a website called "The true size of", which proves that you're wrong. Still not convinced? Check out thetruesizeof.com (sorry if the link doesn't work) and type Delaware and Rhode Island. Thanks.
PS: After you type the website thetruesizeof.com, please decide on if i should change the edits back or not Locked Empire (talk) 15:48, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do not change anything back. You don't seem to understand that we can only use reliable sources on Wikipedia. Some random website you found online is not a reliable source. Most of your edits remove data cited to a reliable source in favor of a number you pulled from some random website. That's not acceptable. We are not here to "prove" anything. We write based on what reliable sources have to say about a subject. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 15:55, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You know what? You're right. Maybe i should stop. The edits i make aren't necessary. Since i now believe you, you can revert some of my edits, actually revert most of my edits, i don't care.
Do you know have a response? Locked Empire (talk) 16:59, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you're going to be changing information in articles, you need to be citing a reliable source. That's all I have to say. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 17:50, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
